Although we are relatively new to breeding and showing lhasa apso's,we are extremely happy that our paths crossed with two rescue lhasa's which we helped rehome to a relative 5 years ago ,we were instantly won over by their characters and temperment and have been mesmerised with them ever since.
We acquired our first bitch not long after this encounter ,and she has become a loving family pet and a great mother to her pups.
Our kennel has grown over the years and so has our experience and we are doing really well in the show ring.

We bought our first 'show' dog in 1996, and since then, although we only show as a hobby, have been fortunate enough to have bred 2 pointers and 1 vizsla that have attained their stud book numbers, and attained stud book numbers with a further 5 dogs, in our 2 favourite breeds Pointers and Hungarian Vizsla.

We were fortunate to have a fantastic vizsla join us in 2006, MY 'once in a lifetime dog' called Stanegate Sheila's Wheels, our whirlwind introduction to the breed of Hungarian Vizslas. We thank .... (click to read more)

I was first involved with dogs at an early age, my mother having Golden Retrievers, I also spent time working at a Boarding Kennels in my school years, so when a job opportunity came to work abroad in Norway in the 1980's, it gave me my first experience of Lhasa Apso's, falling in love with the breed, meeting people like Jean Blyth and Ann Matthews, who visited the kennel of Tanac owned by Dag Lina and Sven Helgeson. After having my first Lhasa Apso in 1996, I have had success with my dogs in the Show World, making up 6 Champions in the UK and I have exported a dog to South Africa, who was a .... involved as we would have liked so we got a little dog namely a lhasa apso.

Because of the endearing characters of this breed it wasnt long that the lhasas moved in and the sheperds dwindled out ever since we have took this breed to our hearts we began showing them we got first Lhasa from a breeder Mrs Tina Lewis Ragoosa Lhasa Apsos who knew what she was doing and had lovely temprements which is our no ....
