I have been brought up with dogs, mostly large breeds & Terriers. I have owned German Shepherds and have had a Bernese Mountain Dog.
I fell in love with the Leonberger in 1995 when I went to see some BMD's & there were also 2 Leos there. I spent all afternoon shaking hands with one of the Leos, Purdy, (Pilgrimstars Wayfarer at Kernow) and couldn't take my eyes off her. She was the Mother of my first Leo, Fern.

I was encouraged to enter an Open Show and she won her AVNSC class when Leos were in the Utility Group. The rest is History. You can see the Showing successes if you follow .... (click to read more)
