The Arldanbrae affix was granted to us in 2008. We are not professional breeders, but we do take a keen interest in the labrador breed. Our main aim is to breed happy healthy puppies to be either pets, show or working dogs and ensure all our puppies are well socialised before leaving us.

We are a deliberately small kennel and our dogs are first and foremost family members and we breed for type, temperament and soundness. We started breeding in 2006 and our aim is to establish Arldanbrae Labradors for many years to come.

Lochandaimh kennels are situated near Dunkeld, Perthshire in Scotland. The name Lochandaimh came from the old estate I use to live on in Glen Lyon, meaning Loch of tranquility.

I currently own 7 working labradors and 2 working springer spaniels that I use for picking up on local estates. Each dog will do at least 80 days from August through to February on a variety of grouse, hares, partridge, pheasants & ducks. I have recently extended my passion for working the dogs and started running in some Gundog Working Tests, in the hope that I will run in some trials in years to come. .... (click to read more)

  • Puddledub
    Miss Fiona Reed
    Current Health Tests

From Puddledubs original black labrador bitch "Pelham of Perthshire" who was bred by friend Ian Greig in Surrey from his wonderful yellow bitch known as Fernie, came a dynasty of friends, companions and gundogs. Pelham defied her mainly showing pedigree and professional gundog trainer Maurice Pattinson said she was the best labrador he had ever had in to train and was so taken with her that he bought a dog pup from her first litter. My father had a bitch from this first litter too, and admits that she was by far the best peg-dog he had ever had.

Once a family have had a Puddledub .... (click to read more)

We are a small kennel in the heart of Aberdeenshire. My family and I have always had Labradors for working and as pets. At Rumledykes we like to make sure that all our dogs get the very best, I have sourced top quality dogs and only take them to the very best studs. They have all been health tested, which we think is very important not only for the dog itself, but for the welfare of any pups we might have. Our dogs are mainly from working stock and we have found that their temperaments are second to none. Our dogs are bred for temperament, intelligence and good looks.
