My husband and I were given our first Retriever Labrador when a close family friend died leaving a six year old Labrador called Vic. Vic came with a loyal, loving temperament. Tragically Vic was killed by a hit and run driver. We never quite got over his loss. We bought a puppy. Then friends who had been breeding and showing Labs for many years encouraged us to get involved. We never looked back these last few years showing and breeding Labs have been wonderful.
