I am a Kennel Club Inspected Assured Breeder and aim to breed typical, healthy Labradors with particular emphasis on good temperament, breed type and conformation to the breed standard.

All my dogs hold current clear eye certificates and are hip and elbow scored. I also test for PRA, EIC, HNPK and SD2.

Most weekends I'm up and down the country. My biggest success so far was winning the bitch CC at Crufts 2013!

I own two Show Champion bitches, ShCh Suttonpark Simone At Crammondkirk and my first home bred Champion, ShCh Crammondkirk's Morning Mist JW.

    Angus
    Current Health Tests

Bonnieburns is a small kennel based in Scotland. We started out searching for our first Labrador puppy in 2004, and after a two year search, found our perfect pup, Penny. This not only provided us with a beautiful family pet, but also kick started our love for showing.

Penny has done really well in the show ring, winning various classes, including best in breed. She is of traditional build, excellent health and temprement, and her pedigree is superb. She is very gentle, sweet and proud in her demeanor

We breed our labradors to continue this trend, and produce puppies of similar .... (click to read more)

We are Kennel Club Assured Breeders.

My husband and I were given our first Retriever Labrador when a close family friend died leaving a six year old Labrador called Vic. Vic came with a loyal, loving temperament. Tragically Vic was killed by a hit and run driver. We never quite got over his loss. We bought a puppy. Then friends who had been breeding and showing Labs for many years encouraged us to get involved. We never looked back these last few years showing and breeding Labs have been wonderful.

We have owned and raised labradors for over 25yrs in a family environment. We registered for a kennel club affix in 2009 and our chocolate bitch "jessie" (Limekilns chocolate button at Joshack) is the foundation for Joshack labradors.

She is a dual purpose type dog both in pedigree and conformation, she is equally happy at work on the hills as she is curled up at home with the kids.

This is the type of temperament and physique we plan to perpetuate in the dogs we breed.

Bella (Joshack Balomorie Bella) is a chocolate bitch we kept from Jessie,s 2nd litter. We were so .... (click to read more)

The Arldanbrae affix was granted to us in 2008. We are not professional breeders, but we do take a keen interest in the labrador breed. Our main aim is to breed happy healthy puppies to be either pets, show or working dogs and ensure all our puppies are well socialised before leaving us.

We are a deliberately small kennel and our dogs are first and foremost family members and we breed for type, temperament and soundness. We started breeding in 2006 and our aim is to establish Arldanbrae Labradors for many years to come.

I have always had a huge interest in animals, and my first Labrador came into my life over 30 years ago, when my parents eventually gave in to my endless requests. That was me hooked and I haven't looked back! I love Labradors because they are always happy and smiling, even when you are having a bad day they love you!

I currently show and work my dogs, and do a little judging at Open show level. My daughter won the BASC Young Handler Class at Crufts 2008 with a bitch I bred.

We are a small kennel established in 1978 with the acquisition of my first show Labrador, a black dog, locally bred, but with him I enjoyed my first successes in the show ring. He was followed by a yellow dog from the Rossbank kennel who was my first Crufts qualifier, and also a yellow dog from Gwen Broadley at Sandylands. Two bitches were added shortly after, both Balrion King Frost daughters, a black from Kitty Cumming at Ballure and a yellow from Maurice Givan at Sudeo. This bitch delighted me by winning the Res.CC at Blackpool in 1984. I was totally hooked and remain devoted to the breed .... (click to read more)
