    Current Health Tests

All my bitches are health tested - hips, elbows, annual eye tests and DNA tested for PRA, EIC and lately HNPK.

We are not a kennel as such, as our dogs are pets that live in with us. Living in a residential area in a large village in the cotswolds, we have to keep the number of dogs we own low, so I am therefore proud to have bred Labradors who have gained their stud book numbers or hold a Show Gundog Working Certificate, but what gives me a real thrill is to see Labradors that I have bred working in a partnership for Dogs For Good (Dogs For The Disabled.)

My name is Mandy, and I have been breeding labrador retrievers for the last eight years. I breed purely as a hobby, and to keep one of my offspring for future generations; the welfare of my dogs is of paramount importance to me. In total, we have seven girls, and the latest one we have bred from is Evie who has delighted us with her first litter born on 3rd September 2014.

My love of labradors started some 25 years ago, when I first met my husband, who had the pleasure of owning two labradors at the time. Our girls have the best of everything in life, they come first and are truly .... (click to read more)

I show only occasionally, though am hoping to be able to do so more often, now my family is grown up, and I only breed when I wish to keep a puppy myself, and to maintain my line of breeding.

Dark Yellow Labradors are my passion and I own and breed Working Labradors which work as picking up dogs on several local shoots throughout the shooting season. I try to achieve a balance of a Labrador that can work and compete but is also pleasing on the eye.

I purchased my first Labrador in 1978, a chocolate grand-daughter of CH Keysun Teko of Blondella. I became interested in showing and breeding and competed at obedience shows for a number of years. She produced a couple of litters, but I soon realised how difficult it is to produce quality choclates.
So in 1986 I purchashed a black bitch from Didi Hepworths Poolstead kennel - Poolstead Prawn Krisp of Keydella - a daughter of CH Keysun Kripsin of Blondella out of Poolstead Purse Strings and so my new line was started and all the .... (click to read more)
