    I first became interested in Labradors when I was a young girl (quite a long time ago), my dad was a police man and he brought my first Labrador home from the police station. Since those early days I have owned quite a few Labs and loved every single minute, I simply adore them. Since moving on to breeding and showing my Labs I have met some wonderful people and made good friends who I am grateful to for all the encouragement and advice they have given me.

    Our affix comes from our first Labrador Retriever bitch whom was named 'Killala Ocean Breeze' following a visit to Killala Bay in Southern Ireland.

    Our labradors are working born and bred and are only suited to working or active homes. We have both Black and Fox Red's which have been worked and bred for ~20 years.

    Later in life we got a Rottweiler bitch Keira and a new love was born.

    I am a Kennel Club Assured Breeder using all the mandatory and recommended health tests plus additional DNA tests.

    Based in South West Wales, we have 5 lovely labs (2 girls, 3 boys) who live inside as part of the family and take life in their stride, just as happy chilling out on the sofa, running around the beach or in the show-ring.

    I no longer breed because of my own poor health. We do however own health tested proven stud dogs and have great handling support nearby if required.

    We have been in the Breed for approx 30 years now, starting with a beaufiful Sandylands black bitch. On our 25 wedding anniversary our daughters bought us a chocolate bitch, kennel name Lougin Lamara (Bisto to us) and we took the breeders advice to show her and we are proud to say we made her up into a Show Champion, winning the Labrador Retriever Club 50th anniversary Championship Show as the Best Bitch and Best of Breed.

    We are both retired Lake District mountain rescue search dog handlers, and Dom was an instructor and assessor.

    My Affix BRUXINHO comes from the Portuguese for Little Wizards.

    I have been lucky enough to qualify Rooster for Crufts 2014 and Rooster & Horace both qualified for Crufts 2015 which is a huge achievement for me.

    We have a little clan compromising of Rooster, Izzy and Ice-Lolly. We recently acquired our first Stud Book Number with Rooster.

    IWe live in a small village which is outside Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. We are just inside the Lincolnshire border and only 15 minutes from the Norfolk border.

    We started breeding Labradors in 1985. Our first Labrador was a dog called Shrubbins Behe'moth who was by Cornlands Black Joker.
    We had a lot of fun showing him locally and this gave us the incentive to keep showing and going forward to try and establish our own kennel.

    I am a Kennel Club Inspected Assured Breeder and aim to breed typical, healthy Labradors with particular emphasis on good temperament, breed type and conformation to the breed standard.

    All my dogs hold current clear eye certificates and are hip and elbow scored. I also test for PRA, EIC, HNPK and SD2.

    Most weekends I'm up and down the country. My biggest success so far was winning the bitch CC at Crufts 2013!

    Ettinsmoor Labradors is a small kennel of the Fox Red Shade of Yellow Working Labradors owned by Jill Parsons.

    Dark Yellow Labradors are my passion and I own and breed Working Labradors which work as picking up dogs on several local shoots throughout the shooting season. I try to achieve a balance of a Labrador that can work and compete but is also pleasing on the eye.
