We have owned Groenendael since 1976 and Japanese Chins since 1990.
In Groenendael we are again the top kennel in the history of the breed in the UK
We have bred directly from our second bitch to our present stock today in a direct line of descent all being Champion bitches. We have produced the highest number of Champions in the Show world and the only two Obedience Champions. We judge at CC level in the UK and abroad regularly. Our web site will give greater detail.
In Japanese Chins we have produced several Champions from a few litters.

    Devon

We are situated in Devon with only a few dogs. I am an Accredited Breeder with the KC as well as having dogs for the past 35 years. I started with Cavaliers in 1973 and in the late 1990's had my first Japanese Chin.

Both breeds are very special with a similar temperament.

I breed for health, soundness, temperament and breed type. All dogs are microchipped, and the Japs are full innoculated before leaving us.

Homes with gardens only are considered for our puppies as we feel that dogs need free running.

Both breeds are excellent with children

  • Dalehouse
    Mrs. C. M. Oatridge
    Stratford Upon Avo
    Warwickshire

Dalehouse is a small select kennel of Dalmatians, Toy Poodles and Japanese Chin with over twenty seven years experience. I have been lucky to have had great success in the show world and have produced some excellent puppies. Temperament is very important to me when choosing to breed so stud dogs are carefully chosen. Puppies are home reared, well fed, insured, and wormed. Dalmatian puppies are BAER hearing tested, my Toy Poodles are Optigen PRA tested clear. Dalmatian homes will be carefully vetted as puppies can be very boisterous and will not suit everyone.

We have had Cavaliers for over thirty years, about five years ago I met some Japanese chins and was
    completely hooked.
I love Cavaliers, their wonderful temperament, and laid back attitude, but chins have something special.
Chins are as bright as a button.
We live out in the country, and have enough land for
    them to run free,weather permitting.
