We first came upon Spinone in the early 90’s when we were looking for a suitable companion for our Giant Schnauzer, Hansel. The KC gave us the ISCGB club secretary’s contact details & much to our delight, we found she only lived a half hours drive away. We rang to arrange a visit & that was our first meeting with Linda Collins, of Wynsett fame.
Over the following years, we became close friends & when we were ready for another dog, Linda gave us a 3 year old w/o bitch called Gloria. Later that same year Linda had a litter from Gloria’s sister Gypsy and Lui (aka Sh Ch Wynsett Xcalaber) came .... (click to read more)

I have had dogs in my life for over 20 years and ran a busy kennels for 15 years. I fell in love with a dear Spinone that regularly stayed with us and it all began from there!

We are now very lucky to own a family of Spinoni all of which have good hip scores and are CA clear.

Our occasional puppies grow up in a family enviroment, taking over part of the house as they grow. They are all health checked by the vet before the leave and their new homes not only have to provide love and care but also be able to accommodate the needs of a spinone.

We are a small home based kennel, all our dogs live in with us and are a major part of our family - okay so they outnumber the humans!

I have owned bearded collies since 1985, the first being a lovely Sallen bitch, Sean added spinoni to our home in 2003. It is only since 2004 that we have had the time and money to devote to breeding.

We only breed from our girls because we'd like to keep a pup for ourselves, we don't breed that often, usually around once a year at most, therefore we very occasionally have pups available for very special homes. Our aim is to breed the best we .... (click to read more)

    SUNSANNA SPINONI
I have owned this wonderful breed since 1993. I first saw them at Crufts and was captivated by their soft expression and temprement.
I have three bitches who are the love of my life.
I lightly show all my girls and my oldest bitch is quite good at agility (I am the one who cannot keep up)
I find the breed extremely easy to train as they love human company so much and always want to please.
I occasionally have litters which are always reared in the home. All are sent of to their prospective owners with puppy packs with the proviso that the new owners keep in .... (click to read more)

We were taken over by Spinoni after almost 20 years involvement with Dobermanns which we showed, trained (obedience training) and bred (4 litters). We introduced our first Spinone, "Amber" into our home in 1997. We were attracted to the breed by their appearance and by their wonderful temperament and we spent many months finding out all we could about the breed and meeting many of the dogs and their owners before we took the plunge. We have never regretted it and have now been completely taken over by Spinoni.
We are interested in every aspect of the breed. We enjoy showing and we are .... (click to read more)

My interest and love of dogs began as far back as I can remember and I have never not had a dog in my life. Our first dog was a German Shepherd Tina who we sadly lost at the ripe old age of 14. Since then I have owned Boxers along with working terriers, and a rescue Parson Russell. It was after the premature loss of our last Boxer and subsequent heartbreak that went with that, we began our search for our next dog we looked at a number of different breeds for one that would be compatible with our Parson and with our young family. After much research we happened across the Italian Spinone and .... (click to read more)

I currently own 3 spinones. All of which firstly are my treasured 'babies' and secondly shown and worked. All have been successful in qualifing for crufts. One of my boys works well and he picks up with me on several shoots. He covers the ground well and has good speed and experience in the field now with a solid 4 seasons under his belt.
i also have high hopes for my young male in the show ring this year, crieda squirrel, so far he has shown brilliant potential in the ring winning 2 CC's and 1 reserve and we hope to get the third this year
