This small kennel was founded in 1979 with the aim of breeding typical, healthy Labradors with good temperaments. All my dogs live in the house and are family pets. I have had great pleasure over the years through my dogs both in the show ring and also abroad where I have been invited to judge the breed. About six years ago we introduced an Irish Red & White Setter into our home. This lovely breed gets on very well with our Labradors and has added another interest to our family. I have owned Irish Setters since 1977 and Irish Red and White Setters since 1982. In that time I have trained and worked my dogs on Partridge, Pheasant and Grouse. Those same dogs have won in the show ring at championship level.I only produce puppies when I need to carry on my line. My first home bred show champion Lowdon Quest For Fame has won 4CC's and 4 Rcc's. I have bred both show and working dogs. All my dogs are health tested, have superb temperments and most importantly are fantastic pets.

I bought my first dalmatian back in 1973 and bred my first litter, under the careful guidance of her very experienced breeder, a few years later. Apart from a brief period of about 4 years I haven't been without at least one dalmatian in my life since then.

He travelled with me and 2 other rotties when I lived for a while in New Zealand where he sadly died doing what he loved, having a walk in the fields. I still miss him terribly. He now sleeps under an English Oak Tree in the beauitful Taranaki region of New Zealand.
We now live with .... (click to read more)
