The Winterwell kennel was founded in 1985.

After owning dogs for most of my life, I came across GSPs whilst out with my Springer Spaniel - two handsome looking dogs in the back of a truck and from that moment on I was hooked. David Layton (Midlander GSPs) helped me to find my first bitch, Redclay Ridge at Winterwell, (Sage), and the rest, as they say, is history.

I am a Championship Show judge qualified to give tickets in GSPs & Large Munsterlanders.

I aim to breed quality dual-purpose dogs, which not only fit the breed standard but also have the correct working instinct .... (click to read more)

Belatarr is a small kennel based deep in the North Devon countryside. Our dogs are very much at the heart of the family, and much of our activity revolves around them. We are fortunate enough to have an almost unlimited amount of outdoor space - woodland, meadows & river - for the dogs to explore and enjoy and they are our companions, first and foremost.

We 1st became interested in this wonderful breed in 2002 after watching Crufts. We were given the contact number of Sharon Seed - Norraysha Kennels and the rest is history. She said this breed is collectable and 8 years on we now have 8 American Cockers and a recently acquired Hungarian Wired Haired Viszla. Sharon and her family have become very dear friends and their knowledge about American Cockers has been invaluable to us.
We bought our first 2 American Cockers from Sharon, Gypsy and Ebony ( Norraysha Bedazzled ). Gypsy helped us build our confidence in the show ring winning classes .... (click to read more)

I’ve owned, shown and judged Hungarian Vizslas since 1990. I am a member of the Hungaraian Vizsla Club and Hungarian Vizsla Society and have been a committee member for the Society. For many years my dogs have represented the breed at Crufts, as part of Discover Dogs.
