    Having shown Cragvallie Dalmatians for 40 years, the Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla has now become my main breed. I first fell in love with the Wires in 1992, when I had the honour of judging Amor and Maya at NGA. I always keep strong working lines within my gundogs as I believe a dog should be capable of performing the job it was originally bred for, mine all display lots of working potential.     Leiborschy Lincoln of Fryerfold is our first Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla, having owned and shown Hungarian Vizslak previously with some success. Lincoln has some wonderful results in the ring, winning his first CC at National Gundog 2014 and gaining his Stud Book Number. He won Res CC at the same show 12 months later. He has passed his Bronze Good Citizen KC certificate, but more importantly he was assessed and passed his Pets As Therapy assessment, and whilst he isn't an active PAT dog, due to time constraints/family commitments, he has the most superb temperament and is a friend to all.     Turtonmoor is the most successful HWV Field Trialling kennel in the UK. FT Ch Kerride Henry (Caesar) is the only HWV to attain the title of Field Trial Champion in the UK. Caesar was an award winner at the 2013 KC HPR Championship.

    Ribble Amber (Amber) was an award winner at the 2015 KC HPR Championship. This was only her third competition at Open Field Trial level.

    My first Smooth Fox Terrier arrived in the late 1950's and with the beginning of Canterwey in the 1970's, my interest in the Breed is as strong as ever. Having produced and shown many Ch. Show winning Smooths (& various other breeds) my stock is breeding on for others to enjoy success in the ring. In 2005 came the Welsh Terrier....
    I first awarded Challenge Certificates for Smooths in the early 1980's and also award Challenge Certificates to Wire Fox Terriers and judge various breeds and varieties.

    My aim is to breed successful dogs of excellent conformation and temperament suitable for the field, whether rough shooting or competing and for the show ring, but most importantly as a loyal companion.

    My dogs are with me at work daily as I am a single handed keeper on a partridge/pheasant shoot. During the season they accompany me on my shoot and on other days they pick up or work in the beating line on other local shoots.
