    Bardantop is a small kennel based on the Worcs/Shropshire borders and is home to Italian Spinone,W/H Vizsla and a black labrador.All our dogs are shown and worked and we have had success in both the ring and the field,gaining CCs,working test and field trial awards.They are truly dual purpose and follow the KCs mandate of 'fit for function,' and as such we are allowed to dock our HPRs.Throughout the season I do ,on average,50 days either in the beating line or picking up....always accompanied by the w/h vizsla and spinone.

    I run a small Established Kennel, on the border of Cambridgeshire
    I have two lovely breeds, the Miniature Wire Dachshund and the very Regal Hungarian Wirehair Vizsla. A unique breed.
    I aim to breed for health and temperament. I am a member of the KC Assured Breeder Scheme and have passed all necessary requirements. I hold the UKAS certificate relevant to the Scheme. All dogs are health tested for relevant diseases for the breed. I breed for Temperment, quality and type, and show very occasionally if circumstances fit, as I don't drive.     We are a family of dog lovers. Firstly and primarily our dogs are our pets. I take great pride in training all our dogs through the Kennel Club Good Citizen dog training system passing their Bronze, Silver and Gold tests. We Successfully Show and work our Wire's on a local shoot as well as taking part in Working Tests. We feel that this allows us and our Wires to enjoy life to the full.

    We successfully bred our first litter in 2010 from Bayside Brokk of Lanokk ShCM X Kenmillix Metope at Fassfields, Saffy. What a delightful thriving, happy and confident litter this was! From this litter we kept our very own Fassfields Queen Breha who became Top Puppy 2011 and also awarded her first CC at Crufts 2012 at the age of 16 months. Showing is only our second discipline - we have 4 dogs in total and currently work 3 of them on shoots within the Trough of Bowland area.     Turtonmoor is the most successful HWV Field Trialling kennel in the UK. FT Ch Kerride Henry (Caesar) is the only HWV to attain the title of Field Trial Champion in the UK. Caesar was an award winner at the 2013 KC HPR Championship.

    Ribble Amber (Amber) was an award winner at the 2015 KC HPR Championship. This was only her third competition at Open Field Trial level.

    Our family of dogs live with us in the heart of the National Forest in NW Leicestershire. We have owned GWP's since 1986 and campaigned them for many years making up a Sh Ch before buying in our first HWVin 1994. Our dogs all live in and are first and foremost family members.     My first Smooth Fox Terrier arrived in the late 1950's and with the beginning of Canterwey in the 1970's, my interest in the Breed is as strong as ever. Having produced and shown many Ch. Show winning Smooths (& various other breeds) my stock is breeding on for others to enjoy success in the ring. In 2005 came the Welsh Terrier....
    I first awarded Challenge Certificates for Smooths in the early 1980's and also award Challenge Certificates to Wire Fox Terriers and judge various breeds and varieties.
