    We are a family of dog lovers. Firstly and primarily our dogs are our pets. I take great pride in training all our dogs through the Kennel Club Good Citizen dog training system passing their Bronze, Silver and Gold tests. We Successfully Show and work our Wire's on a local shoot as well as taking part in Working Tests. We feel that this allows us and our Wires to enjoy life to the full.

    Grougar HWV's are situated in the Ayrshire countryside of SW Scotland. We have two girls and are keeping another girl from our recent litter. Our dogs live at home with us and are worked daily throughout the large upland commercial forests of Ayrshire and Galloway, bringing out their natural working abilities, thus ensuring they are keen, fit, healthy and happy dogs of sound temperament.

    Leiborschy Lincoln of Fryerfold is our first Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla, having owned and shown Hungarian Vizslak previously with some success. Lincoln has some wonderful results in the ring, winning his first CC at National Gundog 2014 and gaining his Stud Book Number. He won Res CC at the same show 12 months later. He has passed his Bronze Good Citizen KC certificate, but more importantly he was assessed and passed his Pets As Therapy assessment, and whilst he isn't an active PAT dog, due to time constraints/family commitments, he has the most superb temperament and is a friend to all.     Bardantop is a small kennel based on the Worcs/Shropshire borders and is home to Italian Spinone,W/H Vizsla and a black labrador.All our dogs are shown and worked and we have had success in both the ring and the field,gaining CCs,working test and field trial awards.They are truly dual purpose and follow the KCs mandate of 'fit for function,' and as such we are allowed to dock our HPRs.Throughout the season I do ,on average,50 days either in the beating line or picking up....always accompanied by the w/h vizsla and spinone.

    Having shown Cragvallie Dalmatians for 40 years, the Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla has now become my main breed. I first fell in love with the Wires in 1992, when I had the honour of judging Amor and Maya at NGA. I always keep strong working lines within my gundogs as I believe a dog should be capable of performing the job it was originally bred for, mine all display lots of working potential.     I established the KISDON name in 1974 and was well known throughout the 70's and 80's for producing successful Weimaraners. The Weimaraners were joined in 1994 by Shannamaya Solymar of Kisdon (Millie), the first of Kisdon's Hungarian Wire Haired Vizslas.
    All the Kisdon litters are born in the house and socialised with my other dogs. My priority throughout has been to breed for soundness, temperament, working ability and show quality.
    I am proud to have the Kennel Club Assured Breeders Accolade of Excellance.

    I have two lovely breeds, the Miniature Wire Dachshund and the very Regal Hungarian Wirehair Vizsla. A unique breed.
    I aim to breed for health and temperament. I am a member of the KC Assured Breeder Scheme and have passed all necessary requirements. I hold the UKAS certificate relevant to the Scheme. We have owned GWP's since 1986 and campaigned them for many years making up a Sh Ch before buying in our first HWVin 1994. Our dogs all live in and are first and foremost family members.     Poppy is our three year old much loved Hungarian Wire-Haired Vizsla. She bred from Morganna lines and has a correct wire coat and have the correct build to meet breed standards. Poppy is proved successful in the show ring (HWVA shows 2015 critiques)as well as being keen working and steady on pheasant. She's a very kind loving dog with excellent temperament with both people and other dogs.
