Highforce Gundogs came into being officially in 1984 when I purchased my first Labrador, a black dog and I became seriously hooked on showing not too long after that! Since then I have shown both Black and Chocolate Labradors with some excellent results at Championship and Open show levels.

In 1996 I became the proud owners of my first Hungarian Vizsla, she has proved to be an excellent show-girl (when she felt like it) and became a Show Champion in 2002. This bitch produced two lovely litters for me, a dog from the first litter was shown very successfully as a youngster but had to .... (click to read more)

We are a small hobby kennel based near Leeds, West Yorkshire breeding the occasional, well planned litter from dogs of sound temperament and construction. I have owned Cocker Spaniels since 1987 and Hungarian Vizslas' since 1992. All our Cocker Spaniels are D.N.A. tested for P.R.A. and F.N. before being bred from. All our Hungarian Vizslas' are hipscored before being bred from.
Puppies and adults are occasionally available to approved, loving homes.
We have dogs at stud to approved bitches which have had the appropriate eye tests (cockers) and hipscores (vizslas).

We have owned Hungarian Vizsla's for the last 20 years. We currently have Mother and Daughter Viszla's. They are a fantastic breed and our children love them as much as we do. Living in the Peak District means we can all enjoy lots of walks as a family.

I met my first Vizsla almost twenty years ago and was instantly smitten- she was everything I have come to appreciate that a Vizsla can and should be. I am glad she then became a part of my family and since she passed away we have added two more equally wonderful Vizslas along with a sweet natured Weimaraner.
Our two Vizsla's are the daughter Ruby and her mother Poppy. Ruby is sired by Shelseivad Ginger's Legacy with Whipspan, the son of the well known Hungargunn Bear It'n Mind.I keep fit by taking all three dogs on long walks regularly in the surrounding rural area- the dogs love the .... The Whipspan affix was first registered in the mid 1960's, with the first litter of Cocker Spaniels born in 1969.

Pointers were added in 1984, and 23 years on, they are still the same type and quality. At Whipspan Kennels, we take special pride in maintaining correct temperament, type and quality, and will continue to do so.

I have specialised in these two breeds for decades with many Champions in the UK and Overseas having been bred at WHIPSPAN.

During the past few years I am immensley proud to have won BEST OF SEX at CRUFTS with no less than FOUR of my dogs, .... (click to read more)
