We are a rural based family kennel in Mundon, Essex, not far from the River Blackwater.

All our dogs are first and foremost companions, with sound disposition and good health.

We enjoy being with our dogs, and as a bonus we take them to shows, where they are very successful, rough shooting, beating, picking up, and with the Vizslas - Field Trials as well. We have busy lives!

Together we have over 30 years experience in stockmanship, breeding, training, working and showing gundogs.

Andrew and our son Christopher are experienced shooting men, who use our dogs .... (click to read more)

Sustead vizsla is our prefix granted by the KC. I am a inspected Assured Breeder for the KC. We have owned Vizslas for 10 years now and i have 3 breeding bitches and My beautiful stud Rupert. My dogs are family pets not just breeding bitches. The vizsla is the ideal dog, good with children and other family pets, dogs and cats. I really enjoy breeding once or twice a year and we have a super environment to raise the puppies as we live in a barn and the outside courtyard makes a super play area, secure and safe to explore and play. The Vizsla is the ideal walking and running companion and with .... (click to read more)

We show and work our dogs & have had this litter to keep the blood line going.

The dam 'Spirit' is a full champion and best of all a great member of the family!

We will be keeping a bitch back to continue showing & working in the field, and are looking for good homes for the other puppies.

Ensuring owners are appropiate is very important to us. All puppies are Kennel club registered, and new owners are provided with a puppy pack of information.

Highforce Gundogs came into being officially in 1984 when I purchased my first Labrador, a black dog and I became seriously hooked on showing not too long after that! Since then I have shown both Black and Chocolate Labradors with some excellent results at Championship and Open show levels.

In 1996 I became the proud owners of my first Hungarian Vizsla, she has proved to be an excellent show-girl (when she felt like it) and became a Show Champion in 2002. This bitch produced two lovely litters for me, a dog from the first litter was shown very successfully as a youngster but had to .... (click to read more)

After tragically losing my GWHP, I admired Hungarian Vizslak having seen them in my line of work as a vet. I got Henna, my first in early 2003 and have never looked back. I have three generations with my youngest Ulurudawn Cardinal Marker showing great promise in the show ring and out working on local shoots as a member of the picking up team. His mother Ulurudawn Clipper now has her stud book number.
At less than 3 years old, Ruban was awarded his Studbook number at Gundog Breeds of Wales Championship Show 2013. This gives him lifetime qualification for Crufts, sadly he is unable to go .... (click to read more)

I'm so lucky too have found this breed, and now I'm lucky enough to own four Vizsla's. My first bitch is the most wonderful dog, and on choosing to breed from her I was lucky to find Watermouth Bunny as a stud dog, who was the epitome of the breed. I kept a bitch from the litter who I will not breed from, but have two beautiful boys who are available for stud.
Both Bert and George have been hip scored, and have a regular health check.

Cinnamon - Kaschtan Cerise Chalcedony- is a much loved member of our family. Everyone who meets her always comments on her calm, steady but loving temperament. However, she also has boundless energy to keep up with our two boisterous teenage boys and the demands of life on a small but busy farm.

We have 2 beautiful English Springer Spaniels and a Hungarian Viszla.
We had a couple of litter off Ellie, one of our spaniels a few years ago.
They are from working and field trial lines but our 3 are purely just members of the family and much loved pets.

Ellie & Fynn both have desired characteristics of the breed. Ellie has also been health tested and both results are great for English Springer Spaniels.

The Vizsla is a very loving and loyal companion and loves to follow you around hence the name 'Velcro dog' . They are very sensitive, intelligent, energetic and lively and can be vocal and not generally for a first time dog owner. They are very; sociable, like to please, love children and other animals and welcome visitors with a cushion, shoe or anything else that is close to hand (or mouth). They are very obedient and If trained properly make a good working dog and ultimately a good pet.
Vizslas offer unconditional love and deserve this in return.

I purchased my first Vizsla (Tye) .... (click to read more)

I suppose you would say I was new to this wonderful breed. I acquired my first Vizsla Twelve years ago, at the time I had two ageing labs and was given this three month old Vizsla to find him a new home. So I asked a couple I knew who where looking for another dog and they said can we think about it. Six weeks later they came back and said they would have him, but they took too long, I had fallen for him so he was the start of my love affair with the Vizsla. I have since acquired three bitches one of which was home bred namely Maisie. We are currently enjoying our trips around the country .... (click to read more)
