    ABOUT US
As a child there were always dogs around. My interest in Great Danes began around 1970 when my husband Barry and I purchased our first Dane. He was a poorly bred mis-marked harlequin with a less than good temperament. However, we loved him and he us unconditionally for over ten years.
During his time with us I began to study the breed more, visited shows, spoke to breeders etc. At this time, I fell for a certain brindle bitch and determined to "get the job right", I waited several months until a puppy from a repeat mating was born. I had previously dabbled at open show level .... (click to read more)

Like so many people we began with a pet bought as a birthday present - Bridie (Amethyst at Tredegar of Dornoir) in the mid 80's and were persuaded to show. Though not extensively shown she achieved her Stud Book Number.

I had always been associated with dogs (my mother had Chow-Chows and Pekes) but decided to handle myself with the acquisition of two black Danes (my favourite colour) Leah and Ebony. Leah (Fassano Beril the Peril) was the elegant English type and Ebony (Fassano Pansy Potter) the solid Germanic type. Both achieved B.I.S. at Open Shows, one at the old Aughton Show Centre .... Keirkane

My passion for Danes started when I was a child. My parents decided to buy two Fawns, one boy and one girl called Sophie and Churchill. From that point on, I was hooked. I had to wait a long time until I was in a situation where I could own one as an adult. The minute my partner and I discussed the idea of getting a pet, I suggested a Dane, and there were no arguements. Having the priveledge of living on a beautiful farm in Cornwall, surrounded by 120 acres, meant there was no excuse not to have such a large, beautiful breed. So of we went to buy our first. A brindle bitch, .... (click to read more)

I purchased my first great dane in the late eighties and very soon became hooked on the breed. My first litter produced a champion and from that i have gone on.
I may only have one or two litters a year but i breed first of all for temperament and feel this is of paramount importance, my dogs are sound well constructed and come with a back up service for the duration of the dogs life therfore giving you peace of mind that if you have any queries i am simply a phone call away. Also if circumstance's change all i ask is that the dog is returned to me for rehoming no matter what the age of .... (click to read more)
