    ABOUT US
As a child there were always dogs around. My interest in Great Danes began around 1970 when my husband Barry and I purchased our first Dane. He was a poorly bred mis-marked harlequin with a less than good temperament. However, we loved him and he us unconditionally for over ten years.
During his time with us I began to study the breed more, visited shows, spoke to breeders etc. At this time, I fell for a certain brindle bitch and determined to "get the job right", I waited several months until a puppy from a repeat mating was born. I had previously dabbled at open show level .... (click to read more)

I have kept danes since 1971 , always males and purely as pets. In 1997 I bought a puppy from Pam Price, and she became my foundation bitch 'Toyah'. This also started me on the sticky road to showing!
    They have wonderful temperaments.
I have been involved with horses all my life, becoming the first professional female jump jockey in the seventies, and following that with training and breeding racehorses. My husband was also a jockey for 20 years. The necessity of good conformation and movement needed in the young racehorse are also essential in Great Danes. When assessing horses the .... Although I had a Great Dane previously when Ian and I met, he also fell in love, with the Breed, He bought me my first Blue called Appollo and then came Misty, he then decidied it might be nice to Show, at our first show we met Rosalie and Elwyn Cobley. Then came Griff and Cassie and so the story starts. Ian and Donna both show, and Ian also Judges the breed. We now have 12 Danes and our passion for the breed has grown stronger through the years.
