As a child there were always dogs around. My interest in Great Danes began around 1970 when my husband Barry and I purchased our first Dane. He was a poorly bred mis-marked harlequin with a less than good temperament. However, we loved him and he us unconditionally for over ten years.
During his time with us I began to study the breed more, visited shows, spoke to breeders etc. At this time, I fell for a certain brindle bitch and determined to "get the job right", I waited several months until a puppy from a repeat mating was born. I had previously dabbled at open show level .... (click to read more)

We specalise in Blue and Black Great Danes, and our aim is Temperament and Type from carefully selected lines.
Our foundation Stud dog, (bought as an 8 week old puppy) CHAMPION ENDROMA LEOPOLD, who sadly passed away in June 2001 aged 11 years and 10 months, has left a lasting reminder in his present progeny.

Like so many people we began with a pet bought as a birthday present - Bridie (Amethyst at Tredegar of Dornoir) in the mid 80's and were persuaded to show. Though not extensively shown she achieved her Stud Book Number.

Leah (Fassano Beril the Peril) was the elegant English type and Ebony (Fassano Pansy Potter) the solid Germanic type. Both achieved B.I.S. at Open Shows, one at the old Aughton Show Centre .... We are a very dedicated, dog orientated family. Our dogs always come first – without exception. We have two breeds great danes and labradors. Our dogs are a very big part of our family life and are very much loved, spoilt and thoroughly enjoyed by us.
We have owned great danes since the early 1980’s and travel all over the country exhibiting them. This sometimes includes an overnight stay due to distance travelled. We judge great danes at championship show level and have made up champions within the breed, our latest being a fawn bitch of whom we are very proud. .... (click to read more)

We were lucky enough to have had a beautiful blue Foaldown bitch (Foaldown Rain Music of Mydane) bred by Lesley Collett. Like all Lesley's danes, she had the most lovely temperament. As the first Great Dane breeder to join in '04 on the Kennel Club's Assured Breeder Scheme, I have always strived to breed true to standard, making sure ALL DOGS AND BITCHES used in my breeding program are hip and elbow scored (as the B.V.A.and K.C. system), heart and eye tested- only healthy, great-tempered, show-quality Danes are used to improve our next generation.
