    We have owned and loved this wonderful breed for 32 years.
    Our dogs live with us in the house as part of the family and are a pleasure to live with.
    We Show lightly but our dogs are first and foremost our dearly loved pets.
    We spend most of our time together enjoying the beautiful surrounding countryside and beaches of East Lothian.

    we have had gordon setters for 27 years and shown for most of that time. We have had 7 litters in that time. . I currently own 3gordon.s and i breed only occasionally I breed for good temperament and happy healthy puppies my dogs are all kept in the house they are very much loved and spoilt and they have very individual natures and spend a lot of their time on the beach harassing the local birds puppies expected begining of May our young boy is Rebus Son of Maisie

    Having had gundogs for the past 40 years it was
    17 years ago we aquired our first Gordon Setter
    ( Isla )
    We started showing lightly & as they say got bit by the bug.
    We have been fortunate enough to have made up 4 show champions & 2 with stud book numbers.
    I am a member of all 3 Breed clubs
    When I breed I aim for good health, type & temperament. All my stock are health tested & live with us as part of the family being loved by all especially the grandchildren.

    Dunfionn Gordon Setters is a small kennel in Ayrshire, Scotland, established in 1980. We have owned or bred eleven UK Show Champions and other CC and Res CC winners and aim to produce traditional Gordon Setters which are of sound mind and body and, most importantly, are suitable family pets. All breeding stock are health tested i.e. BVA Hip Scored, DNA tested for PRA rcd4 and have had recent Eye Tests. Advice on the breed given readily given. We are proud to be awarded the Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme "Accolade of Excellence".

    enquiries welcome to pet homes or show homes, all puppies will be wormed , microchipped , vet checked and 1st injection before leaving at 8 weeks as well as being well socialised to everyday sounds , my dogs are pets 1st and show dogs as a hobby please feel free to ask anything you would like.

    We have owned Gordon Setters for 26 years and have bred one full champion and four other CC and RCC winners.
    Our dogs are pets first and foremost but we do show and all our dogs work - we are part of a small grouse counting team and regularly compete in field trials and do occasional shoots.
    All of our dogs are health tested, for hips and eyes and are DNA tested for PRA Rcd4.
    We only breed occasionally and only when we wish to keep a dog ourselves.

    Jose has shown and owned Gordons since 1975. Having bred 30 Champions, the Lourdace kennel is renounded internationally as one of the top kennels in the breed. David Alcorn has been involved with Gordons for around 15 years, most notably with Sh Ch Lourdace Fulcrum JW who was Crufts Best of Breed in 2015 and 2016, has 30CC's and is five times a group winner.
