Thank you for viewing our site. We are a small breeder who have owned Irish Setters for more than 35 years and Gordon Setters for the last 10+ years. We only have occassional litters when we want to have another puppy for ourselves. We offer life long support to all our puppy owners and enjoy the continued updates from them. We show our dogs at most championship dog shows and local open shows with success from time to time.

Our first Gordon Setter joined us in 1999, “Oscar”, Aldabrook Wizard of Oz. After the loss of Oscar in 2006, “Callum” Aldabrook High Hopes came to keep Fraser company as he just could not cope being on his own having only know life with Oscar.

I have always lived with dogs and have bred very occassionaly to keep a puppy (springer spaniel). In 2009, I was introduced to Gordon Setters at Lowther Country Fair and was smitten! This beautiful breed, with its silky black and tan coat, flying feathers and elegant movement, was imprinted on my memory. Two years later my faithful old Springer died and I recalled the Gordon Setter. After much research, a suitable puppy was found in Dorset, and she was brought home to the Ribble Valley.
