    Guy, my husband, and I (Angie) collected our first Gordon puppy from Surrey in September 2006. Her name is Megan (Laurelhach Pure Indulgence at Lignum) and she is completely and utterly adored by everybody who knows her, but especially us. She has an amazing natual hunting instinct and enjoys nothing more than working our fields at home.

    In July 2007 puppy Murdock (now Sh Ch Laurelhach Just Jitterbug JW) joined our small family and things have never been the same since!!! He is an absolute star, so outgoing and great fun.

    We have been involved with showing Gundogs for several years, having great success in a number of breeds particularly Weimaraners, Pointers Gordon Setters having made up Show Champions in each of these breeds and owning group winning dogs of the last two breeds.

    We attend most championship shows each year and a few open shows too. We try to always present and show our dogs to perfection, ensuring they are always in tip-top condition, which is no mean feat and takes a lot of hard work and dedication.

    Chartan was founded by Inkersall Kirstie (Breeze) way back in 1975 and we have always strived to produce dual purpose puppies, on the way competing in obedience, agility,working trials and field trials as well as breed shows. I am proud to have bred and worked the 1st Gordon Setter bitch to have qualified CDex.
    I hope to continue to produce sound Gordons, who look good and can do the job and be a loving companion too.

    We have owned Gordon Setters since 1994 but our connection with these beautiful dogs goes back to the 1960's.

    Our current bitch, Freyja, is inquisitive, exuberant and has a lovely temperament. She is from the well-known Lochfain kennel and is registered as Lochfain Northern Desire.

    My family of Gordons consists of Wooster (Chartan Elijah Blue at Wingsinger) and Ginny (Chartan Ginny Weasley at Windsinger) and both with a fantastic zest for life!

    Together we enjoy field work and regularly take part in field trials and counting.

    Ginny has her show working gundog and working gundog certificates.

    We show lightly and both dogs are regular Crufts qualifiers.

    We love to take part in fun activities like agility, dog camps and long walks.

    I started with Gordon Setters in 1986. I strive to produce Gordons who are sound, look good, have a good temperament and can do the job they were bred to do. The Gordons in my kennel have won a number of awards in field trials. Warrenfell has produced 9 litters to date as I only breed a litter when I want to keep a pup for myself. All dogs in my kennel are hip scored and when breeding I only use dogs that have a score below the breed average.     Longrow is a small kennel who have been successfully exhibiting this gorgeous breed at Championship and Open shows since 2000.     I became a proud owner of a English Setter in 1998, called Barley. I discovered Gordon Setters in 2001 when I was lucky enough to own Hugo as a Puppy. Since then I have bred 5 generations of Gordon Setters which are loved dearly. Whilst I occasionally show my Gordon Setters and have had many good results in the show ring, all my dogs are first and formally family pets.

    we are a kennel club assured breeder we have had gordon setters for 27 years and shown for most of that time. We have had 7 litters in that time. . I currently own 3gordon.s and i breed only occasionally I breed for good temperament and happy healthy puppies my dogs are all kept in the house they are very much loved and spoilt and they have very individual natures and spend a lot of their time on the beach harassing the local birds puppies expected end of November our young boy is Rebus who at the moment is doing obediance instead of showing and doing quite well!

I start showing around 7 years ago with my dog Leo from the Lochfain Kennel Leo did very well at both Championship and open show Level, He was joined By Craigan Lochfain Now Endless Summer at Pegasett he has also done very well in the ring winning the Dogg CC and Best of Breed at Leeds in 2007 under Breed Judge Mr G Coupe.     Amscot Kennels is one of only a handful of true dual purpose kennels in the UK, meaning the Gordons are capable of working on a grouse moor or on partridge / pheasant at the highest level, being shown at Championship level in a show ring and making excellent pets. Many owners have come back to replace their beloved Gordon when it passes on. That is the highest recommendation I could have.

    I bought my first Gordon in 1983 and now have my 8th generation direct line descendants to that original Gordon.

    We have owned Gordon Setters for 24 years and have bred one full champion and three other CC and RCC winners.
    Our dogs are pets first and foremost but we do show and all our younger dogs work - we are part of a small grouse counting team and regularly compete in field trials and do occassional shoots.
    All of our dogs are health tested, for hips and eyes and are DNA tested for PRA Rcd4.
    We only breed occassionally and only when we wish to keep a dog ourselves.

    I started my involvement with Setters when I had an Irish setter her breeding being mainly the famous Wendover lines. In 1979 I registered my affix, LAURELHACH and followed this with a Gordon Setter.
    I first gave CCs in the breed in 1995 and have since awarded them on several occasions including the pleasure to award them at the GSA Championship Show in 2005. In April 2006 I judged the breed at the Gordon Setter Club of NSW in Australia, Sydney and was warmly welcomed by the exhibitors who presented such sound Gordons of all ages for me to appraise.
