    I started my involvement with Setters when I had an Irish setter her breeding being mainly the famous Wendover lines. In 1979 I registered my affix, LAURELHACH and followed this with a Gordon Setter.
    I first gave CCs in the breed in 1995 and have since awarded them on several occasions including the pleasure to award them at the GSA Championship Show in 2005. In April 2006 I judged the breed at the Gordon Setter Club of NSW in Australia, Sydney and was warmly welcomed by the exhibitors who presented such sound Gordons of all ages for me to appraise.     We have been involved with showing Gundogs for several years, having great success in a number of breeds particularly Weimaraners, Pointers Gordon Setters having made up Show Champions in each of these breeds and owning group winning dogs of the last two breeds.

    We attend most championship shows each year and a few open shows too. We try to always present and show our dogs to perfection, ensuring they are always in tip-top condition, which is no mean feat and takes a lot of hard work and dedication.

    Guy, my husband, and I (Angie) collected our first Gordon puppy from Surrey in September 2006. Her name is Megan (Laurelhach Pure Indulgence at Lignum) and she is completely and utterly adored by everybody who knows her, but especially us. She has an amazing natual hunting instinct and enjoys nothing more than working our fields at home.

    In July 2007 puppy Murdock (now Sh Ch Laurelhach Just Jitterbug JW) joined our small family and things have never been the same since!!! He is an absolute star, so outgoing and great fun.

    Dunfionn Gordon Setters is a small kennel in Ayrshire, Scotland, established in 1980. We have owned or bred ten UK Show Champions and other CC and Res CC winners and aim to produce traditional Gordon Setters which are of sound mind and body and, most importantly, are suitable family pets. All breeding stock are health tested i.e. BVA Hip Scored, DNA tested for PRA rcd4 and have had recent Eye Tests. Advice on the breed given readily given.     We have owned, shown and bred Gordon Setters for the last 17 years, and although our kennel name was granted in 1999, we have actually owned gundogs for over 34 years.
    Our love for Gordons started when we had our first back in 1997. Nothing can compare with being owned by this wonderful breed, albeit sometimes feeling like you own a family of clowns !!

    I became a proud owner of a English Setter in 1998, called Barley. I discovered Gordon Setters in 2001 when I was lucky enough to own Hugo as a Puppy. Since then I have bred 5 generations of Gordon Setters which are loved dearly. Whilst I occasionally show my Gordon Setters and have had many good results in the show ring, all my dogs are first and formally family pets.

    Our current bitch, Freyja, is inquisitive, exuberant and has a lovely temperament. She is from the well-known Lochfain kennel and is registered as Lochfain Northern Desire.

    Pegasett is a small show kennel, I have had setters for over 30 years I got my first Gordon Setter in 1987 From the Prairiedawn Kennel as a pet only but had a little fun at local open shows. I start showing around 7 years ago with my dog Leo from the Lochfain Kennel Leo did very well at both Championship and open show Level, He was joined By Craigan Lochfain Now Endless Summer at Pegasett he has also done very well in the ring winning the Dogg CC and Best of Breed at Leeds in 2007 under Breed Judge Mr G Coupe.     Chartan was founded by Inkersall Kirstie (Breeze) way back in 1975 and we have always strived to produce dual purpose puppies, on the way competing in obedience, agility,working trials and field trials as well as breed shows.     We are thrilled to announce that Kirsty is expecting her first litter by Ned. The puppies are due about the middle of June.

    I have lived with dogs all my life, and have owned setters for over forty years. I initially owned Irish Setters, and registered the Affix I used then in 1975, and began showing. I was bitten by the bug, but I soon discovered that dog showing did not sit well with two very active young children, so I gave up the hobby until nearly fifteen years ago.
