We are a small kennel that breeds the occasional litter.

We are a real dual purpose kennel with both show bred and working bred Goldens and we also have working bred labradors and a cocker who help out in the shooting season.

All our dogs live as family and have lovely temperaments.

We support the schemes for Hip Scoring, Elbow Scoring and Eye testing and details are available on request. We also have DNA tested all of our breeding stock.

I've been around dogs all of my life and have been training and studying dogs since 1998, I qualified as a Veterinary nurse in 2000, am a Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and run my own Dog Training Business.

I've owned and reared many different breeds of Dog.
In 2008, I rescued Ru (Ruperts Gold Boy), a working Golden Retriever. Ru was an unwanted gun dog. He had no life skills and his first year with us was hard, whilst he learnt about life. I quickly fell in love with the breed and their loving nature.

Ru was a registered pedigree dog and I found a new litter .... (click to read more)

Kulawand Retrievers was founded in 1973 by Robert & Sandra Lane. Both Bob and Sandy worked with and had a love of animals from their formative years. Bob worked as a jackaroo in Australia for several years working with horses, cattle, sheep and cattle dogs. Sandy owned and trained collies. In the 1970s, just after their daughter was born, they lost their last collie and decided to have a retriever that was more in keeping with their new family; and thus started 38 years of owning, breeding and showing Golden & Flatcoated Retrievers. Today the Kulawand Affix is a three way partnership with .... (click to read more)

We are a very small kennel consisting of Golden retrievers and 1 St Bernard. My grandparents first started owning and showing St Bernards about 50 years ago and had lots of success winning best of breed at crufts and owning top winning dogs for a number of years. My mother then took over the showing for a number of years and also had lots of winners. The 'Whaplode' prefix can still be found in many top winning ST Bernards pedigree's today.
The kennel now consists mainly for the purpose of working Golden retrievers on shoots. This again was started by my grandfather and has been carried on .... (click to read more)

My name is Stacey Perry and I live in a rural location in Cambridgeshire.
I currently own 2 Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers. I've kept dogs all my life and got my 1st Toller, Lily, 4 years ago and loved the breed so much that shortly after followed our second Toller, Sky.

We also have Lexi, a lovely Golden Retriever. Who is a great addition to our family and a brilliant dog.

Lily, Sky and Lexi are all very much our family pets, who bring us lots of happiness and joy everyday.

Riley is a typical Golden Retriever - loving, easy to live with and dedicated. He is bold, stylish and driven giving 110% in everything he does. He lives indoors with my 4 other dogs and is very bidable. His personality varies from confident in his working ability to sitting on the floor having a cuddle. Riley as a young dog has been quite successful in Working tests, winning his first Novice at 14 months. By the end of 2014 he has won 8 out of the 11 Working Tests he had entered, winning his first Open (AV) in September 2014. Riley has also been placed in 2 Open (AV) tests in 2015 and is .... Current Health Tests

Nick has been competing working and breeding retrievers for 25 years, he has always worked hard to ensure that his Stud dogs are health tested and that pups are bred from health tested parents.

Nick Competes in Field trials and most of his dogs standing at stud have competed or are being trained to compete in Field Trials.

The benefit of having dogs that compete in Field Trials is that they have been independently tested for eliminating faults in the shooting field

We are a family who truly love Golden Retrievers - we do not breed any other dogs. I remember standing at head height with my Grandmother's retriever who was the South East of England Gundog Champion in 1960! I have his photo (see our gallery) with rosette and we have aimed to breed our own retrievers in his image. Our dogs are strong characters, highly intelligent and totally loving. We are proud to have low hip scores for all our dogs and that their eyes are tested clear.

Our small kennel started in 1984 and has met with considerable success including Best Golden Bitch at Crufts and top Golden Retriever in 2005.

All stock is checked for hips and eyes and all breeding stock is well below the breed average. Our dogs live with us in the house and, although we show and work them frequently, they are of part of our family too.

We both judge the breed, Tricia at Championship Show level in the UK and abraod.

Our home is in the heart of glorious North Devon surrounded by woodland and open countryside with wonderful walks on our doorstep!

I have owned Golden Retrievers since 1981, initially showing them, however in 1986, I was then bitten by the "working bug" and found that my dogs loved it too, so much so that we stopped showing!

Labradors and Spaniels came into my world, with my other half, Andy, over 12 years ago! Andy has had both breeds since he was a young lad for shooting and pets.

We have the occasional litter, mainly when we want to keep a pup ourselves, and breed for type, temperament and fit for purpose, with our dogs having the necessary health checks..

We currently have four Golden Retrievers, .... (click to read more)

Mia is a therapy dog who belongs to my teenage ASD son. She is very good at calming him down and helping him to communicate. Mia comes to work with me and talks to customers all day. She loves catching balls and a frisbee. She loves swimming and running on the beach. She is very calm, not bothered by large crowds of people, fireworks and walking through traffic. Mia is sheep trained, used to children and gets bullied by the cats. We are breeding for temperament, a traditional smallish gundog which can do a job. To join my waiting list please email me with your reasons for wanting a puppy. I .... (click to read more)
