    Kulawand Retrievers was founded in 1973 by Robert & Sandra Lane. Both Bob and Sandy worked with and had a love of animals from their formative years. Bob worked as a jackaroo in Australia for several years working with horses, cattle, sheep and cattle dogs. Sandy owned and trained collies. In the 1970s, just after their daughter was born, they lost their last collie and decided to have a retriever that was more in keeping with their new family; and thus started 38 years of owning, breeding and showing Golden & Flatcoated Retrievers.     We are a small kennel that breeds the occasional litter.

    We are a real dual purpose kennel with both show bred and working bred Goldens and we also have working bred labradors and a cocker who help out in the shooting season.

    All our dogs live as family and have lovely temperaments.

    We support the schemes for Hip Scoring, Elbow Scoring and Eye testing and details are available on request. We also have DNA tested all of our breeding stock.

    I have had Golden retrievers before but this is the first time I have bred from them.
    This is Willows first litter and she is a natural mum, very calm and attentive.
    Willows litter is being raised in our home along side our other dog.
    The pups will be KC registered, micro-chipped and will leave with a puppy pack, including a comfort toy, litter scented bedding, a quantity of food and an information pack so that they are ready for their new home.

    Our dogs are first and formost family pets and we enjoy spending time showing them. We have been showing Vizslas for 10 years and our miniature for 4 years, we have had plenty of success up and down the country as well as in Ireland having made up 2 Irish Champions.
    Although Showing is a bit more of a challenge nowerdays with the arrival of our son Henry, but we hope he'll follow us in being a dog lover and maybe he'll enjoy a bit of showing as well.

    Copleybent gun dogs are bred to perform in the shooting field. Doing 70-80 days picking up a season on grouse and pheasants.They make great pets into active family homes. You are welcome to come and meet the dogs. We compete in working test during the summer, and pick up some placing as we go. Rocket picked up a certificate of merit on sunday after a 3 dog run off for 2nd place.

    We are busy active family, with a great love of dogs. Over the years we've increased from one dog to four. We have three golden retrievers, two bitches and a handsome dog. we also have a beautiful long haired german Shepard. All our dogs are excellent examples of their breed and are beautifully natured loving dogs.They are well socialised with dogs, cats, chickens and love lots of fuss from people. we have two children that love taking the dogs for walks or playing with them in the fields.

    I have been training and working gundogs in the shooting field for a number of years, now I am working from home I have set up Partridgefen Gundogs which is based in South Lincolnshire. I have in my kennels Labradors, Cocker Spaniels, Golden Retrievers,clumber spaniels I have also stud dogs through the breeds. All my dogs are regularly worked through the shooting season for picking up and on the peg. I also take in for training for the above breeds as boarders or one to one training.

    We reside in East Devon, a large country House with our 3 golden Retrievers molly, ellie-Rose her daughter & our golden oldie megan, along side grandchildren, and 6 free range chickens.

    The girls are primarily our family pets although they do have exceptional pedigree's clear eye certificates and hip score of 11.

    We only breed occasionally and always chose a stud to enchance the breed.

    Most of our previous litters owners have become our friends and often drop in en-route to see us. We love to socialise, walk and enjoy our dogs.
