We have had retrievers for over fifty years.Primarily it was always Labradors but in the last few years we have become interested in Golden Retrievers.

We have enjoyed owning both breeds.Labrador and Golden Retrievers.
In my hobby as a Dog Behaviourist I use my goldies as calmers when working with other dogs. I have rehabilitated many dogs and helped train dogs and their owners to have better understanding of each other. I sometimes have to help rehome/sell dogs that owners are unable to keep. These dogs can range from young dogs to adult dogs I always ensure that they go to .... (click to read more)

Dogs have always been a part of my life and I have always wanted a Golden Retriever. Moving back to Scotland made that possible and we now have Ruby. She is a delight and we all adore her! She loves her life on the farm sharing it with our cat, chickens and sheep - she is gentle and affectionate with them all. Just a typical retriever!
Ruby had a lovely litter of pups in October, 2015 - of course we kept one and we now have Blue - he is close to 41 kg and the most affectionate big lump who loves a cuddle on my lap!

I first became interested in Golden Retrievers in 1985. previous to then I had owned a Labrador Retriever and Cocker Spaniels. My first Goldie I was going to breed from was purchased from what I now know was a puppy farm and she had a lot of medical problems so she was never bred from and sadly died at only six years old. After much researching I managed to purchase a lovely little bitch from a very good breeder and my breeding career took off. I now own four bitches and hope to keep another little one from the next litter. I do obedience work and show my dogs and currently am having good .... (click to read more)
