My name is Anne Fletcher and I have been "in dogs" for a very long time! At 16 I bought my first border collie (from a market) and started training him. This led to buying a specially bred obedience dog who I took into Ch. C gathering some working trial qualifications along the way. When a bought a bitch and decided to breed. Some 25 years wizzed by and in 1987 I bred the top obedience dog - Ob. Ch. Tyrocoll Behin Token owned by Bronwyn Bartley. Hello, I am Karen and I now own two beautiful Goldies called Megan and Darcy. Megan is now three years old and I kept one of her pups, a lovely girl called Darcy. Although still a relatively new breeder I have now successfully helped deliver Meg's first litter and my friend Sue's litter of German Shepherd pups. I am therefore gaining lots of experience along the way. We have 2 wonderful Golden Retrievers, Beth and Rosie. Our girls are very much part of the family and live in the family home with us.

Our girls have both been health screened under the KC/BVA schemes and have current certificates.

We are not commercial breeders and Beth only had her first litter as we wanted to add another Golden to our family. She is such a wonderful dog, with a fantastic temperament; we just wanted to have another like her!

Our love affair with Golden Retrievers began in May 2004 when Alibren Mama Cass (MEGAN) came to join our family. An absolute lady is the best way to describe Megan elegant and graceful and always has a smile on her face.

All of our dogs live in the home with us and are first and foremost pets although they spend most of the day now roaming in our 9 acres. I have always had an interest in dogs and have many happy memories of my childhood with the family West Highland White Terriers.

I have owned Golden Retrievers since 1986, Dobermanns since 1989 and Sussex Spaniels since 2004. I have done obedience and some gundog training, and since 2003 have been training and competing in agility with three of my dogs. They just love it! Hamish is a complete clown and keeps everyone entertained, much to my embarassment at times! He got his first clear round at the age of 6!

I have been owned by Goldens continously since 1975 and before that owned a Beagle, adding a Basenji in 1978, who was my first real show dog. With my first Golden I competed in obedience and agility and started showing my second Golden in 1985. 'Ramble' won a Reserve CC at two years old and later became a Champion when I moved to Germany on marriage. I first started in Goldens in 1984 under the affix of Cardrona. I took a break from showing and breeding in 1998 but the love of this wonderful breed lured me back in 2004 under the affix Flaxengold.

My dogs are of the utmost importance to us and live in our home as part of the family.
