Welcome to PRUSO home of good looking working dogs. Established in 1982 and owned by Sue and Alan Parr, based near Brighton in East Sussex.
We breed the occasional litter of puppies, (only if we want a puppy ourselves) and believe in breeding good looking dogs with good temperaments that work and are fit for purpose. Our dogs are first and foremost family pets living in the house. They are worked during the season on our small HPR shoot here in Sussex, and pick up on other shoots including one of the biggest partridge shoots in the South of England and featured many times in Shooting .... After owning dogs for most of my life, I came across GSPs whilst out with my Springer Spaniel - two handsome looking dogs in the back of a truck and from that moment on I was hooked. David Layton (Midlander GSPs) helped me to find my first bitch, Redclay Ridge at Winterwell, (Sage), and the rest, as they say, is history.

I am a Championship Show judge qualified to give tickets in GSPs & Large Munsterlanders.

Penidasher GSP's - We are Kennel Club Accredited breeders of German Shorthaired Pointers based in the rural surroundings of Penistone, located centrally in South Yorkshire, England.

As part of the Kennel clubs accredited breeders scheme, we comply with all health and breeding criteria of the scheme. We carefully select health checked stud dogs with good hip scores, to go with the qualities of our Bitch who herself is fully health tested, with good hip results, and clear eye certificate.

Our affix is derived from initials and names of our family.
As a family we have always owned dogs, our home wouldn't be complete without them.

We came across this breed whilst out walking, at the time we were looking for a companion for our much loved boxer, but couldn't decide on a breed. We came across a big male gsp and that made up our minds. It wasn't long before we brought our first gsp home who we named daisy, we haven't looked back since.

I have owned GSP's since 1998, My affix of AMIDALA having been granted in 2005. I began showing in 2004 although only lightly due to travel distances! I am a breed club and association member and on the judges C list for GSP's, I'm also a Kennel Club Assured Breeder.

Our perfect day starts with a long walk over the hill and through the woods and ends with lots of cuddles with more walks and cuddles in between!

2008 ~ There are currently three adult GSP's in our home, Luke, Chewy and Leia (do you see the theme?) Also the memory of Obi remains with us.

Tuptonsett Dottie Dolittle (Dottie) is our first Gsp, we got her in march 2008 from Mrs B E & S P Beresford (Tuptonsett) since then our lifes have never been the same, but much more fun with dottie around! I did some brief showing with her as a puppy and quilified for crufts in our first ever show. At crufts dottie got a fourth and a fifth. and has been placed at many open and champ shows. Dottie has a super nature and is great around other animals from horses to chickens and small children too, she is very obedient and is trained to the whistle but loves nothing more than to be running free .... The Schoneville's were first introduced to the show world in 1980 when Rhoneen, the daughter of Isabel and Peter took their Irish Setter to dog training classes. The person who ran the class suggested that she show the setter because they felt it was a good representation of the breed.

Rhoneen talked her parents into taking her to a show and the family have never looked back since.

Isabel and Peter went on to show English Setters and later became respected breeders, producing a fine line of show champions.

Wildbach GSPs were established in 1976 and strive to breed GSPs of good type who are sound in mind , body and conformation, and can enjoy going out for a day's shooting, falconry, obedience, agility or a day at a dog show as well as family life.

All the dogs here hold British Veterinary Association/ Kennel Club certificates for hips, hearts and eyes and have many generations of ancestors in the UK, USA and Germany with health certification from official bodies. We are Kennel Club Accredited Breeders.

Our family have owned and bred, shown, worked and field trialled GSP's since the 70's and we started our small kennel in 1980(Aytee).We are a KC Accredited Breeder and have been awarded a Breeders Diploma from the Kennel Club. The years have been kind to us and so far there has been 9 show champions and 1full champion with our affix.
We have just 2 gsp's now, Sh ch Jennaline Peggie's A'Graysin JW who was BOB at Crufts in 2008 from a world record entry, the judge breed specialist Ruby Field . Our other girl is Sh Ch Jennaline Ello Ello Ello JW, who was also awarded BOB at Crufts
in 2006 under breed specialist Ben Thurm.

The first gsp came to Alayglow in 1991 this was"Baron of Balach na Ba"or Harvey as he was known.This dog cemented a continued love of this breed.He was a great ambasador,faithfull pet and friend and what fun i had in and out of the show ring with my old friend. We now have 6 gsps all house dogs living with children,cats & us!! The breed are very special as you will know if you have had one not for the faint hearted! but a pleasure to live with if handled correctly.we still have panopal dove of alayglow going strong at 12 years old she is full of character and now spends her days on the sofa ....
