Our Bulldogs live with us inside our home raised in a loving environment as one of the family. I believe this approach is reflected in the behaviour of our dogs.

PUPPIES: Only carefully planned puppies are born at Durham Stars.
My females are not bred to the most convenient dogs, but to sires which i think will compliment them.

Mission

Health, a correct temperment and dogs of a highest quality are my goal.

We live just outside a town in the countryside and we enjoy our family walks with the dogs.

We've had Rooney about four years, and he is an obediant affectionate dog, we are putting him up for stud. He is proven and throws chunky pups. solid deep blue in colour.

Our dogs are family pets and great companions our second dog is chanel and she is Rooneys companion.

My husband and I have owned Staffords now for 14 years. At first our Staffords were just pets and spent many hours playing with our children, then approximately 11 years ago we got the showing bug and have been showing ever since. Our Staffords are pets first and formost, then show and breeding dogs second.
All our dogs are genitically screened for L2-HGA and HC, they are all gentically clear. Our dogs are also tested for PHPV and are all unaffected.
Our dogs live in a balanced pack- having an Alpha male as the leader and the rest of the pack as followers.

I am a Kennel Club Assured breeder, I have been breeding dogs for many years - all my pups are born and reared in the house along with other dogs and cats and other animals and teenagers! So when they go to their new homes they are very well socialised. My pups come with a 5 generation pedigree, K.C Registration, worming certificate, vet check, innoculations (if required), 4 weeks insurance and enough food to last a month, as well as toys and a comfort blanket.
We are situated in Hertfordshire close to M1, M25 & A1, and so are very easy to get to.

Our interest in bulldogs began when my son was recovering from childhood illness, he wanted a companion full of strength courage and love, representing everything he had been through. The great English bulldog; Star was the light at the end of our tunnel. She is one in a million!Star had full potential to hit the show ring, but my son’s immune system wouldn’t allow so we will leave that for her off springs born March 2012.

We have owned and bred dogs all our lives and in 1998 we started Showing and Breeding Bullmastiffs.
Since then we have many winners in Open and Championship Shows including Crufts.

Our top winning dogs at this time are CH Bournevalley Seahawk of Alwencourt JW ShCM (Flynn), Alwencourt GentlemanJim JW ShCM (Jimmy) and Alwencourt Red Baron (Bobby). They all have their Stud book numbers, which mean they are qualified for Crufts. (All are at Stud to approved bitches only)
