I have been involved with Showing Dogs for most of my life (30 years+) as my parents are Championship Show Judges And Top UK Breeders 2008,2009,2010 & 2011 in another breed, giving me an excellent understanding and knowledge of the canine world.

When i got my first house i bought my first Flatcoat Brook (Leskaris Arden) who became my foundation bitch. Her first litter produced Rotherfield Call Me Madam (Skye) and then Rotherfield Another Madam (Erin) from her next litter. All have been lightly shown due to work and home commitments.
At present i am showing Rotherfield I'm The Madam .... (click to read more)

***** TOP UK FLATCOAT BREEDER 2014*****

I have owned, exhibited and bred Flatcoats since 1988.I am approved to award Kennel Club Challenge Certificates in the breed and have also judged many times in other European countries and had the great honour of judging Flatcoat bitches at Crufts 2015.

I only keep a few dogs at a time and breed very occassionally. To date, the following dogs owned or bred by myself have become champions.

Torsa (Craigachan Diamond Queen) is our first home bred bitch, born in 2012. She is health tested and carries the liver gene.
She has just had a lovely litter of 6 big pups, 3 boys and 3 girls, one liver of each sex. This is her second litter and she is just such a great mum - we are so proud of her.
We have owned and loved flat coats for many years and love their friendly and generous enthusiasm.
We breed occasionally, our dogs are very much part of our family and bred for their happy, friendly nature.

I take great care over choosing suitable breeding lines for my kennel and my dogs have show and working lines in their pedigree. All are hip and eye tested according to Flatcoated Retriever/Kennel Club guide lines. I show and work them occasionally which I enjoy as they have a fun and biddable temperament. Most of all they are my companions and their nature makes them great with children.
