    We are a small, family kennel living in a small country village south west of Aberdeen in Royal Deeside. The countryside is amazing and we are thoroughly spoiled for long free running walks (with lot's of "wet" possibilities e.g. Peat bogs and mountain streams) for the dogs.

    All our dogs are first and foremost prominent members of our family. They have the best of care their health and happiness being of paramount importance to us.     The very special foundation bitch of the Jaskar kennel was Westley Rachel of Jaskar (22.2.86 -28.4.00). She was mated to Sh Ch Stirchley Saxon and produced Jaskar Jordan a super dog who did a great deal of winning, including 2CCs and 3RCCs

    Flat-XP is a small Austrian kennel founded in 2003. The “XP” in the title is derived from “a wonderful eXPerience.”

    Our love for flats started in 2001 when we bought our first bitch - Undine. She was very successful in shows and working tests and was awarded with many prizes, the most recent one in summer 2011.

    Undine’s first litter consisted of 12 wonderful puppies of whom we kept Anna and Ally.

    Our dogs are health screened according to the Austrian Retriever Club’s guidelines.

    Kulawand Retrievers was founded in 1973 by Robert & Sandra Lane. Both Bob and Sandy worked with and had a love of animals from their formative years. Bob worked as a jackaroo in Australia for several years working with horses, cattle, sheep and cattle dogs. Sandy owned and trained collies.     The Casblaidd kennel was founded in 1987, when Chris Hewison had his first dog, Nemo (The Viking of Woodbridge). Chris and Nemo went on to achieve many goals, not the least of which included the K.C.J.O. Junior of the Year and the K.C.J.O. Gold Medal in Obedience with the Welsh team. Nemo also partnered Louise Vaughan to the K.C.J.O. Junior Handler of the Year, showing the versatility of the Flatcoated Retriever.

    My husband bought me my first Flatcoat, Kesi as a softener for moving from my home in Surrey to Scotland in 2006 on his Army posting! She came from an excellent line of Spera Flatcoats bred by Shirley De Robbio in Ayrshire.
    Having successfully bred six litters of Flat-coated Retrievers, I have produced some really lovely pups. Some were chosen as family pets and others have done quite well in the show ring, some are working dogs, but most importantly they have gone to fabulous homes and are well loved.

    I have 3 flatcoats, mum Opal, daughter Rudi and son Carson. I am a occasional small breeder and follow strict health guidelines as an approved breeder with the Kennel Club.     When the time was right to bring another dog into our home, we decided to have one litter of puppies from Mum Aira because of her wonderful temperament, happy outgoing nature and her perfect size. After much research, we found the ideal stud dog and Aira was mated in February this year.

    On 10th April 2016 Aira produced 7 beautiful healthy black puppies - 5 bitches and 2 dogs.

    Both parents have been health tested, have good hip scores and clear eye tests.

He won 13 CC's 12 RCC, Numberious Championship Group Placings, Winner of Champion Stakes and holder of the Flatcoated Retriver Society Top Dog 2003 award Becky Trophy.     My late husband Geoff and I have been involved with dogs for over 30 years. Geoff was a Police Dog Handler in the Metropolitan Police for 25 years working on the streets with German Shepherds. He also took part in Police and Civilian trials with each of his dogs.
