Chris and Nemo went on to achieve many goals, not the least of which included the K.C.J.O. Junior of the Year and the K.C.J.O. Gold Medal in Obedience with the Welsh team.     I live near Blackpool and have owned and loved Flatcoated retrievers for 27 years. I started out in obedience with my dogs and have done some showing but am having the most fun with them competing in Flyball competitions at a National level. Delilah (Ravencrag Dancing Moonbeam) is currently 9th Flatcoat in the country.
    I breed occasionally and like to keep in touch with all my dogs to ensure they are happy and healthy. I am always available to provide help and advice about the dogs I have bred.

    My husband bought me my first Flatcoat, Kesi as a softener for moving from my home in Surrey to Scotland in 2006 on his Army posting! She came from an excellent line of Spera Flatcoats bred by Shirley De Robbio in Ayrshire. I have not looked back or returned back to England. Scotland is now our home with a few more Flatcoats because 1 is just not enough!

    We have owned flatcoats on and off for over 35 years and recently we have bred a litter each year from one of our two bitches. We enjoy bringing the puppies up and making sure they have the best start in life. We have kept in touch with many of the pups with their new owners and they visit from time to time which is always a great
    treat for us. We also breed horses.

    Presently, I have two girls Champunzie Morning Tourist (Keira 7 years) and Keira's puppy Corriegarth Cassia (Ceilidh 3 years).

    They live in the country enjoying forest walks and love regular visits to the beach where they can swim.

    Keira attends obedience training classes and also loves active involvement in Flyball. She has passed her Kennel Club Good Citizens Gold Test and is keen to learn.

    Ceilidh is also going to training classes and has just passed her Silver test.

    We had Goldies for years, but after a break of twelve years because of the pressures of work, we now have Flatcoats!

    We have two Casblaidd girls and now have our own affix Possingworth. The first puppy to carry this is Possingworth Dorothy,(Dottie)Millies daughter. She is now 4 and joined our picking band two years ago, she has proved to be as clever and willing as the other girls, intuitavely finding birds, with no fear of difficult cover.

    After many years competing in obedience with crossbreeds and puppy walking for Guide dogs,it was decided to get our first Flat Coated Retriever in the late eighties.
    Gemswin was born ,we breed for type and more importantly temperament,with the view that most of our puppies are placed in pet homes.
    All our dogs here are hip and eye tested and only the soundest are bred from.
    All our dogs live in the house , have lots of free running in glorious rural hertfordshire and generally enjoy life...a lot!

    My love of Flatcoats began over 28yrs ago with my 1st bitch bought from Mary Grimes. Gipsy was my constant companion and most loyal friend.My 2nd Flatcoat sadly passed away aged only 6 months from cancer.     We have had Flat Coated Retrievers for the last 26 years and have had some success with both working and showing them.
    We have been members of the Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme since it was introduced and adher to all health checks required by them e.g. hip and eye tests.
    All our pups are home reared and are well socialised and will be microchipped and have 1st injection when they are ready to leave us.
