    We have owned Golden Retrievers since 1981, our first two dogs were Channri Cerrigold and Channri Caleb.
    The very special foundation bitch of the Jaskar kennel was Westley Rachel of Jaskar (22.2.86 -28.4.00). She was mated to Sh Ch Stirchley Saxon and produced Jaskar Jordan a super dog who did a great deal of winning, including 2CCs and 3RCCs

    Coedylan is a small kennel in the Rhondda Valley in South Wales backing onto the edge of old woods. We have had flatcoats since 1994, we now have the pleasure of the company of Peggy (Marjosi Silver Lining at Coedylan) and her lovely daughter Lilly (Coedylan Visi D'Arte).

    We are Kennel Club Assured Breeders.

    Lilly achieved her Stud Book Number at South Wales Kennel Championship Show 2014.

    The Casblaidd kennel was founded in 1987, when Chris Hewison had his first dog, Nemo (The Viking of Woodbridge). Chris and Nemo went on to achieve many goals, not the least of which included the K.C.J.O. Junior of the Year and the K.C.J.O. Gold Medal in Obedience with the Welsh team. Nemo also partnered Louise Vaughan to the K.C.J.O. Junior Handler of the Year, showing the versatility of the Flatcoated Retriever.

    Founded in 1976 Gloi has shown Golden retrievers since then. We have had 3 Uk champions and numerous others world wide. Our First Flatcoat joined us in 2004 and gained her ShCh title in 2009. From her first litter we kept a daughter who has done exceptionally well in the ring winning 2 Res CCs,her JW and ShCM. Her younger brother has his JW and ShCM, and his two full sisters their JWs. Ebony's grandaughter has just gained her JW giving us our 50th studbook number across the two breeds

    We have owned Flatcoats since 1980 when we acquired our first working bitch. At first we did lots of obedience/agility and then a friend introduced us to the world of dog shows which established our joint hobby. We applied for our affix “Beanit” in 1987 and we had our first flatcoat litter in 1990. All our dogs are part of the family and live in the house with us, all puppies are reared indoors in a family environment.

    I have owned dogs all of my life, I got my first Flatcoat, Mollie (Byeways Befair) over 14yrs This is where my love of the breed began. My latest Flatcoat is Byeways Fair and Square at Hototo, Poppy, she is showing regualarly and has done extremely well for only a yearling having gained her first RCC at Paignton 2012.
    The Wire Dachshund came into my life 5yrs ago. Wow, what a breed they are. So addictive! Lily, Tendrow Whoop's a Daisy at Hototo is a delightful little dog to own in so many ways. Lily's daughter, Lucy, Hototo She's The One has got her adhorable temperament and character.

    We currently have a lovely litter of puppies, born on March 20th to Torsa (Craigachan Diamond Queen). We have 3 boys and 5 girls and all doing well.

    Torsa has the benefit of her mum, Talla (Aricdell Alice Springs at Craigachan) making sure she is doing the right thing.
    We have owned and loved flat coats for many years and love their friendly and generous enthusiasm.
    We breed occasionally, our dogs are very much part of our family and bred for their happy, friendly nature.

We moved to Sunnybrae in 1991, and it was a Flatcoat paradise,with 12 acres of fields & a river running through the bottom of our valley.     I have owned Flatcoated Retrievers since 1986 but did not breed my first litter until 2012. I was also granted membership of the Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme in 2012. 'Aoife', Taranbeck Sorrel May Day was bred by Shirley Oxford from traditional English dual purpose lines. Aoife has had some success in the show ring gaining her Kennel Club Stud Book number which qualifies her for Crufts for life.
    Ailin, Aoife's son is showing promise with his gundog training and also in the show ring- (hoping to take after his father who is an excellent working dog)

    My husband bought me my first Flatcoat, Kesi as a softener for moving from my home in Surrey to Scotland in 2006 on his Army posting! She came from an excellent line of Spera Flatcoats bred by Shirley De Robbio in Ayrshire. I have not looked back or returned back to England. Scotland is now our home with a few more Flatcoats because 1 is just not enough!
