    We are a small, family kennel living in a small country village south west of Aberdeen in Royal Deeside. The countryside is amazing and we are thoroughly spoiled for long free running walks (with lot's of "wet" possibilities e.g. Peat bogs and mountain streams) for the dogs.

    All our dogs are first and foremost prominent members of our family. They have the best of care their health and happiness being of paramount importance to us. They are all health screened as they mature in accordance with the appropriate schemes and results are available to see on the various websites.

    Coedylan is a small kennel in the Rhondda Valley in South Wales backing onto the edge of old woods. We have had flatcoats since 1994, we now have the pleasure of the company of Peggy (Marjosi Silver Lining at Coedylan) and her lovely daughter Lilly (Coedylan Visi D'Arte).

    We are Kennel Club Assured Breeders.

    Lilly achieved her Stud Book Number at South Wales Kennel Championship Show 2014.

    I have been involved with Showing Dogs for most of my life (30 years+) as my parents are Championship Show Judges And Top UK Breeders 2008,2009,2010 & 2011 in another breed,giving me an excellent understanding and knowledge of the canine world.

    When i got my first house i bought my first Flatcoat Brook (Leskaris Arden) who became my foundation bitch.Her first litter produced Rotherfield Call Me Madam (Skye) and then Rotherfield Another Madam (Erin) from her next litter.All have been lightly shown due to work and home commitments.

    I live near Blackpool and have owned and loved Flatcoated Retrievers for 29 years. I started out in obedience with my dogs and have done some showing but am having the most fun with them competing in Flyball competitions at a National level. Delilah (Ravencrag Dancing Moonbeam) is currently 3rd Flatcoat in the UK.
    I breed occasionally and like to keep in touch with all my dogs to ensure they are happy and healthy. I am always available to provide help and advice about the dogs I have bred.

    * * VERY SPECIAL PUPPIES * *

    When the time was right to bring another dog into our home, we decided to have one litter of puppies from Mum Aira because of her wonderful temperament, happy outgoing nature and her perfect size. After much research, we found the ideal stud dog and Aira was mated in February this year.

    On 10th April 2016 Aira produced 7 beautiful healthy black puppies - 5 bitches and 2 dogs.

    Both parents have been health tested, have good hip scores and clear eye tests.

    Predominantly family dogs that have produced fine pups that have gone on to be crufts qualifiers, search and rescue dogs and great family pets.

    Having had a successful professional career over the last 20 years, I decided to take a change of direction to allow me to dedicate the time I need to my animals.     Myself and my husband own three flat coats, we run a successful small boarding kennels called Wetherham Boarding kennels.www.wkennels.co.uk.
    We love flatcoats and have owned seven flatcoats over the years. We have successfully bred four litters from our previous flatcoats. We are now looking forward to our next litter from our four year old bitch Lowenna. We also have a stud dog Hadden.
    I do behaviour work with all my dogs and agility. I have also shown Hadden.

    We have owned Flatcoats since 1980 when we acquired our first working bitch. At first we did lots of obedience/agility and then a friend introduced us to the world of dog shows which established our joint hobby. We applied for our affix “Beanit” in 1987 and we had our first flatcoat litter in 1990. All our dogs are part of the family and live in the house with us, all puppies are reared indoors in a family environment.

    We have owned flatcoats since 1995 and our very first show dog was Ch Steeplehouse Gamekeeper. He won 13 CC's 12 RCC, Numberious Championship Group Placings, Winner of Champion Stakes and holder of the Flatcoated Retriver Society Top Dog 2003 award Becky Trophy. He also gained his Show Gundog Working Certificate to make him a full champion. A dog in a million. A great privilage to have owned this wonder boy.
