Mrs Sally Main

I have owned and bred Golden Retrievers for 27 years. I only breed when I wish to keep a puppy and to continue my line. All dogs are kept in the home and are bred for temperment and type. I am a believer in my dogs being fit for purpose and three of my current dogs are trained to the gun and regularly pick up on a local shoot.
My dogs are screened and all have current eye certificates and are hip scored.
I have two boys currently at stud. George (Gwyngala Grenadier) hips 6-6 and Jack (Creekside Sea Captain at Gwyngala) hips 3-4. Both these boys have beauty and brains working regularly .... (click to read more) -

Labradors and English Springer Spaniels
Labrador Retrievers
It was in 1976 that a Labrador first entered the Allen household; it was time for a dog to be part of our family, and with having a young son, reliable temperament was the number one priority in deciding which breed. A Labrador fitted the bill exactly. A litter was found by Landyke Laird x Weston Honey (a Grand Daughter of Ch Reanacre Twister), so Heidi joined our family.

Andy and I live here in the beautiful Shropshire hills, with our 3 pets - Cockers Poppy ( Redwood Daisy ) her 2year old puppy Rose ( Bradmarsh Harvest Rose ) and Springer Flora.
Poppy has had 3 gorgeous litters and Rose is from the 2nd of those.
As with Poppy, our aim is to do our very best for Rose and her babies, to breed good strong healthy puppies, and to give their new owners as much pleasure as we have had.
Rose has had all the recommended clinical and DNA tests and we are pleased to have been accepted as Kennel Club Assured Beeders.
We are planning for Rose's 1st .... (click to read more) -

I have owned Golden Retrievers since 1981, initially showing them, however, I was then bitten by the "working bug" and found that my dogs loved it too, so much so that we stopped showing!
I have the occasional litter, mainly when I want to keep one myself, and breed for type, temperament and fit for purpose, with my dogs having the necessary health checks..
I currently only have one Golden Retriever, PURDY, after loosing my 2 "oldies" Taz and Star, recently. However, I also have 3 Springer Spaniels, Gem, Ellie and Lightening, and also have a fox red Labrador called Tess, all of .... (click to read more) -
