Since I bought my first Springer I have never looked back. My girl was and is the best dog anyone could ask for, she taught me everything, when she had her first litter she took it all in her stride. I now have 6 Spaniels, Flick, Shane, Kovu, Gem, Nova and Zen. I breed only very occasionally and do all this for the love of the breed. I believe that it is my responsibility to ensure the puppies I breed are well rounded indviduals with sound temperaments and to also ensure that they will live happy and fulfilled lives with their new owners.

Tagkai Gundogs is run by Steven and Helen Rogers. Based in the beautiful south lakes of Cumbria, we are a small family run Kennel Club Assured Breeders Of Working English Springer And Cocker Spaniels.
All our dogs have undergone the relevant health tests. As from December 11th 2011 Our springer spaniels are tested for Fucosidosis, PRA. Gonioscopy KC/BVA/ISDS. All our cocker spaniels are tested for KC/BVA/ISDS, FN (Familial Nephropathy), PRA.

We are a small kennel of three Golden Retrievers and a working type English Springer Spaniel.We began showing our lovely goldens ten years ago and enjoyed it very much with some lovely wins for them.
