We have had English Setters for over thirty years and bred our first litter twentyeight years ago. We only keep a small number of dogs because they all live in the house together.

Our main aim is to breed strong, healthy puppies which will bring pleasure and love to their owners. To this end all our stock are hip x-rayed and scored and we choose the dogs we use very carefully. We have been Kennel Club Accredited Breeders for several years and are members of the English Setter Association. We take the health and welfare of our dogs and puppies very seriously.

We are a small but sucessful kennel. We have bred numerous champioms. We have been involved with dogs and showing for over 25years.
I am qualified to judge all gundogs at open and international level.
I am an accredited breeder and we only breed occasionally. Our dogs are all eye tested and hip scored as required. We are members of many breed clubs and societies.
We pride ourselves in producing healthy quality puppies that are only available to permanent loving homes.

I have been involved in dogs & dog showing all my life, English Setters, were my first love, until 1994 when I got my first weimaraner Curly - Gunalt Heritage at Caleydene & what a shock to the system that was ! But I would never be without one. Curly was a real handful, but such a comic. He did a lot of winning & went on to gain his title. My family have owned/bred three Show Champion English Setters and numerous prize winners.

I am a Kennel Club Accredited Breeder and we all live in a small bungalow in Derbyshire - English Setters and Miniature Schnauzers all mingling together in harmony.

My Main breed is English Setters which I have owned for over 36 years, but although i no longer have any bitches, I often know who has puppies. I Judge at Open show level, am a Member of The Miniature Schnauzer club and the English Setter Association and an Adviser for a monthly Dog Magazine. I live in Leek in the Staffordshire Moorlands. I have over 30 years experience working with dogs, I have worked in training, boarding kennels and also show kennels breeding and showing Irish and Gordon Setters.

Bradstar are now Kennel Club Accredited Breeders
All dogs which are bred from will have had the health tests for their breed, will be reared in the home and be used to the sounds of a busy family, They will be KC registered, wormed, vet checked, insured for six weeks and we give a lifetime aftercare service, we love to hear how our puppies are growing up and receive photos .... We have owned & bred Champions in Irish Setters, Our kennel having won both the Dog & Bitch Ticket at Crufts. We have campaigned our English to Stud Book Level.

The Schoneville's were first introduced to the show world in 1980 when Rhoneen, the daughter of Isabel and Peter took their Irish Setter to dog training classes. The person who ran the class suggested that she show the setter because they felt it was a good representation of the breed.

Rhoneen talked her parents into taking her to a show and the family have never looked back since.

Isabel and Peter went on to show English Setters and later became respected breeders, producing a fine line of show champions.
