We were first introduced to the fantastic Dogue de Bordeaux breed in 2005 and had our first Dogues in early 2008 from our good friend Kerry Jones at Willsanburg Kennels. We are with our little family 24/7, they are all fit, healthy and extremely well-socialised. They are all complete individuals, each with their own quirky and sometimes hilarious ways.
We work much harder now in our "retirement", but boy are we having lots of fun !!!!!!!!!

We are Nikki and Declan and live in Newarthill Motherwell. I am a qualified veterinary nurse and have had dogs since I was a little girl. We are owned by two Dogue de Bordeaux's Ruby and Beaux. Our dogs are pets first and foremost and a major part of our family and live in our house with us. As we are surrounded by fields the dogs enjoy daily walks there and at the weekend we like to go hill walking with the dogs if not at the shows.We were granted our kennel name Bijourouge, which means red jewels and keeping with the french theme in Aug 2009.
