We are Corrine and Colin Hanson-New and we live in Cannock, Staffordshire with our Coton's Jarvis and Clio plus our two cats; Holly (15 yrs old) and Charlie (4 years ).

Our interest in the Coton breed began in 2009 when we found ourselves in the position of being able to think about having a dog and completely fell in love with the breed. We have had several successes in the show ring culminating in 2012 with a 2nd in Post Grad Bitch for Clio at Crufts

Wyldewyche Kennels have had a very successful 2011.
We live in Derby in the East Midlands so very useful for reaching most places - quite handy when showing our Cotons. Our Cotons are our loving pets whom we live with in their home......thats how it seems to be most of the time anyway. We came across the Coton de Tulear whilst looking at the toy breeds mainly the maltese and bichons as part of a related group of dogs and was instantly hooked and have never looked back. Dogs are my favourite hobby, having had a number of different breeds along the way, they bring me lots of happiness and joy. I have owned a Coton De Tulear for 3 years, and my garden has never been the same since!!!. Candy - 'Cotontastick Candy at Geojo', has won several Best of Breeds at Championship shows and does very well at open shows, having just recently won the Toy group. They are a lovely friendly breed, a pleasure to care for and easy to train. Having been interested in the cotons since 2004, I quickly aquired my first coton Travis from Julie Rawlings at Coppercotons, as a birthday present from my husband. We already had two German Shepherds, Roxy & Bob our beloved pets, but Travis fitted in beautifully, Travis was part of the pack in no time, and they are all still the best of friends. They have an amazing character..no one Coton is the same as another, they love to be around other animals, they adore children and enjoy life to the full.

The lhasa Apso entered my life in the 1990s as a pet for our children.
I soon became fasinated with this little Tibetan dog & its very interesting history.
I decided to show my Apso at local open shows as a Sunday afternoon hobby. I slowly graduated on to Championship shows where Drivin' Miss Daisy qualified for Crufts & gained her stud book number, I was hooked!.....
My hobby became a pasionate way of life.
Although I don't breed many litters I have so far bred a UK Champion who achieved Top stud in 2005 & a Bel/Lux Champion, group 9 winner.

As a junior handler I have been involved with the showing of my mums Lhasa Apsos since the age of five. I have won many Handling competitions,most memorably the Richmond semi-finals & the Crufts finals.
I have also handled dogs for other owners in the breed rings.
I have now branched out on my own & will continue to show & breed my own dogs. My dogs live in my home as part of my family & all puppies are reared in my home not in kennels
