I have been involved with dogs for 45 years, in the likes of showing, working, trimming and occasionally i have a litter of puppies usually when i want something to show myself. I worked with German Shepard's then poodles and for the past twenty years Cocker Spaniels. All my dogs are health tested or clear by birth. They live in the house as family pets, loved by my grandchildren and spoiled by everyone they meet. I breed for true Cocker type but first and foremost is temperament.

  • Annsfarm
    Mrs. Anita Beal

Annsfarm is a small kennel which started in 1981 although I had grown up in a household that always had one or two Labradors around, and it seemed that every relative I went to visit as a child also had Labradors stretched out in front of the Aga! so Labradors have been a part of my life for over fifty years.
When I started the Annsfarm kennel we only had working gundogs which we trained ourselves to work throughout the winter months and to have fun with during the summer months competing at country shows. We bred the occasional litter of Labrador puppies and also trained two or three dogs .... (click to read more)

Both my husband and myself work our dogs but predominantly they are our pets. We have had a few litters over the years and thoroughly enjoy keeping in contact with them as they progress and develop through their years.

I started with Gordon Setters in 1986. I strive to produce Gordons who are sound, look good, have a good temperament and can do the job they were bred to do. The Gordons in my kennel have won a number of awards in field trials. All dogs in my kennel are hip scored and when breeding I only use dogs that have a score below the breed average. Following the development of the DNA test for late onset PRA in March 2011 all my dogs that will be used for future breeding have been DNA tested or are hereditry clear

In 2007 I imported 2 dogs from Italy that are a mix of Warrenfell and European .... (click to read more)
