Our affix comes from our first Labrador Retriever bitch whom was named 'Killala Ocean Breeze' following a visit to Killala Bay in Southern Ireland.
Our labradors are working born and bred and are only suited to working or active homes. We have both Black and Fox Red's which have been worked and bred for ~20 years.
Later in life we got a Rottweiler bitch Keira and a new love was born.

We have various stud dogs standing at the moment including a Chocolate Lab. & 2 strong Black Labs.
All are working dogs with the Labs. having good hip and eye scores and full clear DNA tests.

Current Health Tests
Fyrish Gundogs is located just north of Inverness, in the Highlands of scotland, owned and run by Amy Higgs. Currently the team consists of spaniels both cockers and english springers as well as labradors.
The dogs are all active workers during the shooting season, picking up and taking part in walked up shoot days. The spring and summer months are spent competing in various working tests and field trials are also participated in during shooting season. I have owned Millie (Cocker Spaniel Working Strain) since she was 10 months old. She is extremely friendly with a lovely temperament. She is a very calm dog for a cocker spaniel. She had her first litter at two and half years old and is proved to be a very attentive mother. Her second litter is due 15 October 2014.
