    I have been involved with dogs from a very early age as my mother is a breeder and exhibitor of some 30 years. My interest in showing began with my mother's dogs, I was priviledged to handle our first French Bulldog to his title when I was just 15. My Mum aquired her first Cocker some 10 years ago and I quickly became smitten with this fabulous breed.

    Kevelek Gun Dogs. We are a small kennel situated in Cornwall.
    We've owned German Shepherds, German short haired pointers, Labradors and for the last few years Working strain cockers and springers. Very occasionally we may have a litter of cockers but concentrate on having quality stud dogs who are fit for purpose, health tested and have wonderful temperaments.

    All of our dogs work during the shooting season either beating, picking up or rough shooting.

    The Lochranza Kennels are well known showing kennels founded in the 1930's and are currently owned and run by Mrs Jean Gillespie. Jean works with her husband John and Louise Wilding who was added to the affix in 2005.
    Over the years, the kennels have produced numerous show champions and have exported their dogs throughout the world.
    Lochranza is known for solid coloured dogs and their breeding dogs are tested for PRA.

    The Jayzander affix was granted in 2003 after I was caught by the showing bug. We purchased our 1st blue roan , Norbert, as a pet but thought I would go to a few little shows with him for fun, that was it, I was hooked.     The Jayzander Cockers are predominantly parti-colours with the exception being Georgia.

    Our German Shepherds are big boned, square type with long/glammour coats.
    Our Cocker Spaniel are small working type, very active busy bees, with lots of Field Trial Champions in their line.

    All our pups are KC registered, wormed, 12 weeks free insurance, all go to new home with puppy pack, instructions and enough food or a few days.

    All our puppies are born in our kitchen where they stay till they are 5-6 weeks old, then to give mum a rest they are moved to a run in the garden, were they can have lots of room to run and play.

    We live in the beautiful North Devon countryside & have owned cocker spaniels for over twenty five years. We breed the occasional litter when wanting a puppy for showing. We own parti colours only (mainly blue roan & occasionally have orange roan & black & white).
    All our dogs are DNA tested for PRA & FN or are hereditary clear.We now also test for AON. Our dogs are first & foremost our family pets so good health & temperament is very important to us as well as breed type.
