    Cricklecreek are a small kennel of show
    Labradors and Cocker Spaniels. Although
    we now don't show our Cockers, we only use show lines when we want a litter.
    We are based in the beautiful Scottish
    Borders. All our puppies are brought up in
    the kitchen, where they are used to all the
    sounds of a busy household. They have had a lot of TLC and attention. They will be sold with KC reg., pedigree, microchip, 4 weeks ins., soft toy, a few days food etc.,

    We are occasional breeders of Health Tested Working Strain Cocker Spaniels. Our breeding dogs are all eye tested annually, have clear Gonioscopies and are DNA tested clear for prcd-PRA and FN. They are also DNA profiled under the KC scheme.
    We are fully committed to maintaining and improving the health of this wonderful breed.
    In addition to having our own litters, we can sometimes put you in touch with breeders who have used the services of our stud dog.

    I got my first show type Cocker Spaniel at fourteen and have they have been part of my life ever since. I am interested in showing and breeding orange roans. I am a Kennel Club Assured Breeder and care a great deal about the health and temperament of my dogs and any puppies I breed. I only breed when I want a puppy to keep; most importantly as a pet but also to be lightly shown. I therefore rarely have puppies available but can recommend other breeders.     For as long as I can remember I have always had spaniels and horses in my life.
    My first dog was an English Springer Spaniel Pepper(1980) who gave me good grounding on gundog training.
    I started showing cocker spaniels in the early 80's and developed my solid line in the mid 90's, my foundation bitch was Chataway Sweet Dreams(Jody). Jody is the greatgrandmother of my black girl that I am currently showing today ,Whinburn Whispering Dreams ShCM.
    I also have Field Trial bred cockers that both myself and my husband work to the gun and not forgeting our working springer Dan.

    This is a small family run kennel we have all our old grannies and great grannies the dogs were shown up until recently. Also they are reared with children around them as i am a childminder. The dogs play a big part of my life they have wonderful natures and look great. We also have 2 lovely stud dogs one with hip scores 4 + 4 which is really good. All puppies are well reared, insured, have a worming certificate and menu. Our oldest is now 13 years and still looks absolutely gorgeous as are all our dogs.     We are situated at the Gateway to the Highlands, we have Parti-coloured (Roan) Cocker Spaniels we have been showing since 2000 and breeding Cockers since 2004, in the show ring we have had some successes as you will see below.
