I have owned cocker spaniels for the past 20 years and decided to start breeding in 2011 when I became a Kennel Club Assured Breeder. In 2015 I decided to take my name off the Assured Breeder list, purely because I'd had my dog's eyes tested every year and every year the test was perfect. I just didn't want to put her through that again, for no reason. My dogs are very much loved members of the family. I am a cocker spaniel nut and now have 3 cockers. I am a small hobby breeder and only have a litter when I am thinking of keeping a dog for myself.

The Jayzander affix was granted in 2003 after I was caught by the showing bug. We purchased our 1st blue roan , Norbert, as a pet but thought I would go to a few little shows with him for fun, that was it, I was hooked. I was then on the hunt for my first bought show dog and became close friends with Jean Gillespie, a liason that led to me having an excellent mentor.
The Jayzander Cockers are predominantly parti-colours with the exception being Georgia.
All breeding dogs are eye tested and hip scored. I only have a few litters and breed to show. Our dogs are pets first and foremost and .... (click to read more)
