    We have loved and lived with cocker spaniels since 1995. Towards the end of 2008 we purchased our first parti-coloured cocker and as we have become more interested and involved in showing our dogs we applied for and were granted our own affix Shenjela..

    We enjoy showing our dogs, but they are members of the family first. They like to go for long walks, swim, get muddy and curl up on the sofa but not necessarily in that order!

    We are members of both the Cocker Spaniel Club the parent club of the breed and the West of England Cocker Spaniel Club.

    The Jayzander affix was granted in 2003 after I was caught by the showing bug. We purchased our 1st blue roan , Norbert, as a pet but thought I would go to a few little shows with him for fun, that was it, I was hooked. I was then on the hunt for my first bought show dog and became close friends with Jean Gillespie, a liason that led to me having an excellent mentor.
    The Jayzander Cockers are predominantly parti-colours with the exception being Georgia.

    The Casblaidd kennel was founded in 1987, when Chris Hewison had his first dog, Nemo (The Viking of Woodbridge). Chris and Nemo went on to achieve many goals, not the least of which included the K.C.J.O. Junior of the Year and the K.C.J.O. Gold Medal in Obedience with the Welsh team.     I bought my first cocker in 2007 and started showing. I then got the bug! and got my second cocker and now I have four.

    We also have a black labrador male from previous breeding of our much loved and missed black labrador female.
