We are mother and daughter who are a small hobby kennel that breed and show Cocker Spaniels.
We first got into showing with our first Blue Roan at a small exemption show, from that day forward we were hooked.
We have the occassional litter when we are looking to retain a puppy that will bring new blood lines to our kennel all puppies are born and raised in our own homes. We are a small family breeder of solid colour cocker spaniels. We bought our dog casey two and a half years ago and decided that we would love another cocker with her temperament and looks, so we decided to breed from her. In order to do every thing correctly we had her Optigen, Antegene and BMVA tested to make sure we only breed fit healthy pups who would never develope the fatal kidney disease Fn or the eye disease PRCA. We then registered our kennel name and became acredited breeder's with the kennel club.

'Powerscourt' is a small hobby kennel of parti-coloured Cocker Spaniels, based in the beautiful & historic town of Leominster in Herefordshire.
All of our dogs live in the house with us & are much loved companions first & show dogs second. Our dogs mean the world to us & we think they are very special. The Lochranza Kennels are well known showing kennels founded in the 1930's and are currently owned and run by Mrs Jean Gillespie. Jean works with her husband John and Louise Wilding who was added to the affix in 2005.
Over the years, the kennels have produced numerous show champions and have exported their dogs throughout the world.
Lochranza is known for solid coloured dogs and their breeding dogs are tested for PRA.

Andy and I live here in the beautiful Shropshire hills, with our 3 pets - Cockers Poppy ( Redwood Daisy ) her 2year old puppy Rose ( Bradmarsh Harvest Rose ) and Springer Flora.
Poppy has had 3 gorgeous litters and Rose is from the 2nd of those.
As with Poppy, our aim is to do our very best for Rose and her babies, to breed good strong healthy puppies, and to give their new owners as much pleasure as we have had.
Rose has had all the recommended clinical and DNA tests and we are pleased to have been accepted as Kennel Club Assured Beeders.

We live in the countryside in wonderful Mid Wales on a 13.5 acre small holding. We currently run a couple of hundred chickens who are "free to roam", we try to outwit the fox but he occasionally makes a hit.
Tootsie was our first cocker spaniel and she is now seven years old and is a dark blue roan. She is first and foremost a much loved family pet. She had her first litter in 2007. This proved such a positive and happy experience for both Tootsie and our family that she went on to have more. She is now retired from puppy production. A small hobby kennel established in 1975, initially showing and breeding Irish Setters registering the affix 'Dawnglo' in 1978.
I occasionally breed a litter of Irish to continue my line. My stock is hip scored, genetically clear of PRA (RCD-1) and CLAD.
My highest award in the show ring has been a Res CC with Amberwave Prima Donna at Dawnglo, although over the years we have managed to have 2 wins (Dawnglo Celesta and Dawnglo Heatwave) and several placings at Crufts.

For as long as I can remember I have always had spaniels and horses in my life.
My first dog was an English Springer Spaniel Pepper(1980) who gave me good grounding on gundog training.
I started showing cocker spaniels in the early 80's and developed my solid line in the mid 90's, my foundation bitch was Chataway Sweet Dreams(Jody). Jody is the greatgrandmother of my black girl that I am currently showing today ,Whinburn Whispering Dreams ShCM.
I also have Field Trial bred cockers that both myself and my husband work to the gun and not forgeting our working springer Dan. -

We pride ourselves on good breeding for health, temperament and type. I have always owned dogs as has my husband of 21 years. I am a qualified groomer and have a major interest in dog psychology. We own and adore both solids and parti-colours and have made an entry into the show world, although time constraints mean light showing at present. My 14 year old daughter is a promising handler and we pride ourselves on the effort we take with every puppy and new owner. I am a Kennel Club Assured Breeder and have owned, shown, judged and bred Golden Retrievers since 1989. My kennel affix is Rheincroft. I am also a professional dog trainer, behaviourist and groomer. I also show, breed and judge Tibetan Terriers and Cocker Spaniels. I adhere to the BVA/KC health requirements with all my dogs and my Tibetan Terriers are DNA clear for PLL. My mother and father started the (JOALDY) kennel over 25 years. In this time they both have breed dog for the the show ring and for working. I took over the kennel a couple of years a go and l love every moment. All our dogs are family pet and live in the house with us and are DNA tested.
