We live in the beautiful countryside of East Sussex with our 6 Golden Retrievers and a Cairn Terrier. We are very fortunate in living close to both forest walks and the sea.

Golden Retrievers have been part of our family since 1992 when we thought the children were old enough to be responsible for helping with the care of such a pet.

We currently have 6 Goldens in our family - the majority being generations I have bred and kept from my foundation bitch - Mollie who sadly passed away in July 2010 at 14 3/4 years of age.

Since 1992 we have actively trained our dogs in .... (click to read more)

Hi you have reached my CHAPELWAYS page....................

With my love of pedigree dogs & showing in mind 15yrs ago I decided to purchase my first dog "HARRIOT" a Basset Hound, afew years later my first Cairn Terrier arrived. Unfortunatly they are very addictive so along came another, then another & so on!!! The two breeds get along brilliantly & both have proved to be excerlent companions & loving family members.

CHAPELWAYS is a small hobby kennel who "occasionally" produce Cairn Terrier puppies when we wish to keep something to further our own bloodlines. We strive .... (click to read more)

i have been breeding dogs now for over 15 years.

i breed for quality type and temperment.

my Cairns are from renowned lines which are one of the reasons my dogs are so lovely.

i only use 'sound' stud dogs to my girls and can fully reccommend their breeding and knowledge.

i am happy to give help and advise on my dogs.

Kilnyard Cairns are home bred family dogs. Although shown at championship level, they live in the house and are pet dogs. This means a friendly temperament is important. Occasionally, to further the line, we breed a litter

Neil and I have both been brought up in the countryside and have spent our lives with dogs, horses and other domestic and farm animals.

I owned my first pure bred labradors around 20 years ago, Ben & Holly (brother & sister), yellow labradors; although house pets they came from a working background. I have always been interested in gundogs and enjoyed watching them work.

Sadly Ben developed a very aggresive cancer in his lung and died very shortly after it was diagnosed, so I was left with Holly who became withdrawn and lost without her life long mate. A few months later around .... (click to read more)

We have been showing and breeding Irish Setters for 30 years, the Westies came about 15 years ago and although we do not show them we aim to breed happy and healthy pups and so far we have been successful in this aim. The cairns are a new venture for us and we are still learning about this lovely breed.
We have bred several champion Irish Setters and also foundation stock for others. Diane has judged both in this country and abroad.
We only breed an Irish Setter litter if we want to keep something for the show ring and all our dogs are PRA RCD1 and CLAD clear, we occassionally have .... (click to read more)
