We have owned Bullmastiffs since 1985 (having previously owned and shown Great Danes for 16 years). Our dogs are our hobby and we breed the occasional litter, the pups from which go to carefully screened homes. We endeavour to breed a substantial dog with a strong head and outstanding temperament. Our kennel contains all colours - fawn, red and brindle. We have had considerable success in the show ring, including a Crufts Best of Breed, and can be found ringside at most of the major Championship shows. We award Challenge Certificates in Bullmastiffs and judge most breeds at Open show level. .... (click to read more)

Our dogs are important members of our family, we love, then show, then breed in that order!

We only breed to improve/maintain the breed or to keep a pup ourselves to show or carry on our bloodline. We only ever breed from dogs that are clear of the health checks that the KC recommend checking (and on some occasions more, ie our bullmastiffs are eye tested also). All our dogs are also DNA profiled.

We aim to produce dogs that are close to the breed standard, that are healthy with size and substance. Most importantly to us is that the size of the dog does not hinder it's .... (click to read more)

Welcome to Sundabish Bullmastiffs! The Sundabish affix was created and founded by Sue Bown in 1984. Sue bred and campaigned Boxers under the affix for almost 20 years. In 1996, the first Bullmastiff came along from Shelley Tomsett of the Dajean kennel. "Chelsea" was our founding bitch and what a girl she was! In later years, Lesley Wilfort and Sue's son Daniel, joined the affix and handled the dogs together. Sadly, Sue passed away in 2012. The dogs are still shown and have been campaigned throughout 2013.

We at Sundabish have made up 5 champions and bred 3. The first being Ch.Oldwell .... (click to read more)

I have owned Bullmastiffs since 1983 and was smitten by the breed from the day one. Spent first years as a pet owner with some occasional showing. I was fortunate to acquire my foundation bitch in 1988. She was a daughter of GB Ch Boomerang of Naukeen and GB Ch Maxstoke Bassey, Top Bullmastiff Bitch in 1987. She later became Finnish Ch Maxstoke Bullberry Inger.

I wanted to combine what I thought was best in England and the USA, and thus inseminated the English import Inger twice with frozen semen imported from the USA. She produced a litter of nine in 1990 by AM & CAN Ch Blackslate's .... (click to read more)

We have owned and loved Bullmastiffs since 1989. Our son introduced us to the breed, as he had a friend who owned one. We went to see a litter and immediately fell in love with the breed. Fudge was our first bullmastiff (Sweet Saysanna) We soon found that one Bullmastiff was not enough to be owned by, so Dalton came into our lives (Reality of Banquo) both were great characters and our home was never quiet with these two lovable rogues. Fudge loved to help with the cooking (eating) and Dalton liked to help with the painting and gardening. He was often found wandering around the home carrying a .... (click to read more)
