We are Brittany owners but not regular breeders. We have had two litters from our younger dog, Hawkwise Happy Feet.
Our older Brittany is now nine and the younger one 4.
We love the energy of the breed and good nature. They are especially good with children but do need stimulation.
Poppy, the younger one is a working dog as my husband shoots and they are particulary good for falconers as pointers and flushers.
Our older lady is purely a pet but still enjoys chasing her ball and swimming.

We have owned Brittanys since 1996 and bred our first litter in 2004. We show and work our dogs and also enjoy showing in France and especially look forward to the French Brittany Club Show held each year in a different region of France. In recent years I have used French Stud dogs as our gene pool in the UK is quite small. All of our breeding stock is health tested.

My first show dog, Pagan, a Dobermann arrived in 1985, closely followed by her half sister, Laura. She was a beautiful show dog but was not suitable for breeding so her half sister, Macy, joined the household in 1996 and proved to be a wonderful show dog, brood and most of all a superb companion. Macy left us with wonderful memories and a broken heart on the 4th September 13 but her legacy lives on in Hazel, her great granddaughter and a great character. Ellie, the Whippet arrived to the .... We started with the Brittanys 9 years ago with Tilly, we got her to work with our birds of prey, her fist trip to scotland with us and the hawks was when she was just 6 months old and she was a nateral.
We did working tests with her and we did ok, several 4th places but she was not a strong retriver.
Then one day when we were out at a agricultral show we met a brittany club member and she said why dont you show Tilly as she is such a lovely bitch we decided to show her at the next Brittany Club weekend when she was 2 years old just for the fun of it, the judge liked her but did not ....
