    I got my first Briard five years ago (Dec 04) after losing my beloved Bearded collie (Baldrick) ages 14. I had long admired the briard after first meeting them at Discover Dogs. Hendrix a black boy (lizabett) soon took over our lives he loves my husband and we often nickname him bostick, after losing Baldrick I said I never wanted to be without a dog again and a year after having Hendix we got our second Briard a girl called Joplin a fawn, she has such a character and is so pretty we decided to have a go at showing having never done this before we have had quite a bit of success and are ....     Gilcoru Briards started in 1978
    and we have loved the breed eversince.
    We have bred more champions than anyone in this country and are very proud of them all.

    Our dogs are hip scored and CSNB eye tested.
    All the dogs we have tested are free from CSNB.
    Gilcoru Beagles started in 1995
    Through my son, Luke, they are lovely little people and get on so well with the Briards.
    We are currently showing Gilcoru Stifler and his sons Gilcoru Mimime and Gilcoru Prince Charming.

    I have been involved with Briards now for about 45 years, only ever breeding when I want to keep a puppy, at this moment I only have Remy and my new baby girl Grace. Both Briards have the most amazing temperaments, which I think is very important, both are first and foremost much loved family pets.

    Magic was mated in July with 2011 Crufts winner Cannibal Jag. She is expecting 10 fawn puppies on 15th September 2012.

    Jaggy is 5 years old and he is a very laid back gentleman, with a kind and affectionate temperament.

    I show, do agility, obedience and heelwork to music with my Briards and in any spare time left, visit residential homes, nursing homes,hospitals and Schools with my PAT dogs

    Dex, Della and Dibs have completed the KC GCDS at GOLD level. Demi has completed Silver. Desmond has completed Bronze

    Temperament is my prime concern, which is proven by the fact that they are ALL registered PAT dogs.

    All are tested clear for CSNB and have good hip scores.

    I am a KC Assured Breeder.

    She won Limit class at Crufts 2014, aged 18 months. She has 7 CACIB, 4 CAC, 1 RCAC & numerous Green Stars (CACs).

    All our Briards are family pets and live together with us in the house. They have always been hip scored and eye tested, and all my briards are DNA clear for CSNB. Showing has been our hobby since 1983 and has given us great successes. Not only here in the UK but in Europe also. Temperament and soundness is our prime concern. We aim for quality, not quantity, having had only 14 litters in 25 years and owned/bred 14 Champions with others winning CC's and RCC's.

    Dogs have been part of all our lives, I grew up with them, so did my husband and my children became involved in showing dogs from an early age.
    We started with Boxers - we still have a very elderly Boxer in residence sadly she has since passed away (she gained her stud entry at a very early age) and 3 stately Briards, of whom, Sophie our own breeding went on to gain 2 cc's and 1 rcc.
    We still show her now and again and there is nothing she likes more than
