My name is Julia Beevers, I have owned Weimaraners for twenty years, never a dull moment with a weimar around! I can't actually remember my first sight of a Weimaraner but, what I do remember is the feeling I had! I knew that when I was old enough I was going to have my own.

Since 1996 the passion for the Bracco Italiano has been the main motivation in my life. Now breeding the di Cacciola Bracchi is the result of the many years of study and research for tipicity and health of this fantastic breed. My dogs come directly from Italy or from a mating here at home between Italian dogs. It has been the greatest honour for me that of every litter one or two puppies went back to live with the owner of the studdog and are used in their breeding line and for hunting!

Darrowdale is a small kennel, with multi-purpose gundogs - pet, show, working, agility, Pets as Therapy, Pet Blood Donors.

My first spinone, Spitewinter Alla Prima was made up to Show Champion the summer after her litter (which produced Darrowdale Delight and Darrowdale Devotion - the start of my kennel). Darrowdale Delight currently has 1 CC and 3 RCCs, Darrowdale Devotion is the Spinone UK Top Open Show Bitch 2010.

All my gundogs are trained to the whistle (to varying degrees of obedience!), and several work on a couple of shoots throughout the season.

We both have a life long interest in dogs and have been keeping dogs together for the last 20 years and have been breeding for about the last 10. I am a KC Accredited Breeder.I have owned Weimaraners and Miniature Pinschers for 20 years and Bracci Italiani for 9 years.
I started to show and breed Min Pins first. In my 2nd litter I was lucky enough to produce two Champions,
Ch. Zakro Cadburys Caramel (4 CCs, 4 Res CC. 2 of which were won at Crufts) and Ch Zakro Buzz Conductor(7 CCsmultiple Res CCs 2 of which were won at Crufts). I owned their sire Norleybank Buzz Word With Zakro, he gained his Stud book no. by ganing two Res. CCs.
