We are lucky enough to live on a beautiful 150 acre poultry farm in Surrey and have lots of fields and 40 acres of wild woodland to walk the dogs in and also a huge lake which they can swim in if they wish. We also keep 3 spanish horses so they love to come horse riding (more plodding) with me.
We also have a little Maltese Terrier who officially belongs to my eldest son but spends more time with us than him.
My husband has a care business and his clients love to have a visit from a dog to sit and have cuddles. Particularly the ones that have had their own dogs in the past and .... (click to read more)

Zanys is a small hobby show kennel that was established in the 1980s.
We are proud to have bred and owned several KC Stud Book number holders.
Lesley is a KC Championship show judge.
Although mainly known for blacks we do sometimes have yellow puppies for sale.
We only breed the occasional litter when we want to keep a puppy ourselves.
Good health and temperament with a moderate breed type that conforms to the KC breed standard are what is important to us.
Zanys Labradors have gone on to do well for new owners at obedience, in the show ring and as working .... (click to read more)

I have owned Irish Setters since 1980 & Weimaraners since 1990.
I never exhibited my first Irish Setter but got bitten by the bug when I aquired my first Weimaraner Adlwood Aster in 1990.
My introduction to Border Terriers came when I was looking for a smaller breed to fit in with our gundogs for my daughter to show, I'm now hooked.

UPDATE 11/10: One of the girls have gone to a loving home and family...
First litter to our gorgeous Border Terrier (Upelider Patient) Pippa. She had 3 pups, 2 girls and 1 boy and all are doing very well. Pippa has very strong blood lines, some winning many champion awards and local show prizes. Her line has been bred to keep legs short and in keeping with classic Border Terrier looks. Pippa has a lovely calm temperament, enjoys rabbiting and going on long walks around the Yorkshire Dales. She has been an excellent mother and has managed everything on her own.
Her sire Todd .... (click to read more)

The Brumberhill Border Terriers and Wire Dachshunds are a small hobby kennel, started when I bought my first BT puppy in 1980, from a local newspaper advert, at the age of 15.
Luckily for me her potential was spotted by Ted Hutchinson, who had heard about the new puppy and asked to see her. He had campaigned the then Breed Record Holder, Ch. Step Ahead, to his many wins. On seeing her, he said breed a litter from her first then I'll make her a Champion. I did....... and he did!!!! In 1982 she became Ch. Brumberhill Blue Tansy, winning her first CC with BIS at the Border Terrier Club .... (click to read more)

I had bred Chocolate labs for nearly 20 years but my two remaining girls are now retired. For my old age I bought a border terrier - Bonnie. I have had two litters with Bonnie and have kept one from each litter Treacle and Toffee. All my terriers have lovely temperaments and I always choose a sire with a similar temperament, this is most important to me.

Dogs have been part of all our lives, I grew up with them, so did my husband and my children became involved in showing dogs from an early age.
We started with Boxers - we still have a very elderly Boxer in residence sadly she has since passed away (she gained her stud entry at a very early age) and 3 stately Briards, of whom, Sophie our own breeding went on to gain 2 cc's and 1 rcc.
We still show her now and again and there is nothing she likes more than
to roll around in the mud once she's back on home territory. ( sophie has since passed away RIP Sophie )
We have to thank .... (click to read more)
