We are a family run kennel based in Norfolk and we all have keen interests in working dogs from training, wildfowling, field trials and rat control with our working Labradors and Border Terriers.
All of our dogs have been brought up with us and our two young children and we are all one big family! Especially when there's puppies! Socialising with us and our children from an early age helps to give them a great start from the very beginning.

Although I do not show my dogs, they have all been chosen for temperament, being "true to type" and having correct conformation. They are all very affectionate, both to each other and with people. The greatest risk one has when coming to see them is to get mugged for fuss. All my dogs are used to socialising with the puppies before they are sold and usually it is Mum, whoever it is at the time, who sneaks off when the pups are outside. I have hours of pleasure with my canine mates, and want to breed puppies who will give other people the same companionship. As I am a KC Assured Breeder, .... (click to read more)
Ive had Greyhounds, Leachers and Terriers over 30 years but we didn't get our first Border till 2012.
We started going to a few local Border Terrier shows with Libby and that was it, we got the show bug.
We are hobby breeders and we enjoy showing with some success, we pride ourselves in breeding happy, healthy puppies that are raised in our home and brought up around children.
We aim to produce Border Terriers to the breed standard with excellent temperaments.
All our Borders live in our home and are part of our family.

The Brumberhill Border Terriers and Wire Dachshunds are a small hobby kennel, started when I bought my first BT puppy in 1980, from a local newspaper advert, at the age of 15.
Luckily for me her potential was spotted by Ted Hutchinson, who had heard about the new puppy and asked to see her. He had campaigned the then Breed Record Holder, Ch. Step Ahead, to his many wins. On seeing her, he said breed a litter from her first then I'll make her a Champion. I did....... and he did!!!! In 1982 she became Ch. Brumberhill Blue Tansy, winning her first CC with BIS at the Border Terrier Club .... (click to read more)

We are a small kennel, specialising in longhaired weimaraners, generally breeding to retain a puppy for ourselves. Our dogs are essentially pets who are shown, with some success.
We have owned Weimaraners since 1996, and bred our first litter in 1999.
All our breeding stock complies with any relevant KC health scheme, hip scoring in the case of Weimaraners.
All our puppies are precious, and will only go to homes assessed as suitable. Throughout their lives their owners will have our full support.
We now offer a young dog at stud, Lassemista Passoble. He is a short hair, who .... (click to read more)

Our Kennel started in 1971 with our foundation bitch Souperlative Booksale Angel Tears, bought from Miss Weatherill. In our very first litter by Ch. Maerdy Maestro of Ormandy she produced Ch. Badlesmere Bonaparte of Souperlative and Ch. Badlesmere Bit of Luck. Bonaparte in his year won The Regent Trophy, The Ormandy Jug for Dogs and The Charlie Girl Cup for Best Mover at the Bull Terrier Major Trophy Show. He continued his winning ways by being top stud dog on the wins of his progeny for two years.
We went on to breed over the years Champions

I've been involved in showing, breeding , judging and working dogs for over 30 years. I enjoyed 10 years as consultant to the BBC regarding showdogs and aspects of canine health and breeding, following a career as a horsewoman. Dogs and horses are kind of similar...both blossom in good hands and the real joy is watching a character you have nurtured , grow into a confident and loving companion , able to do the task he has been chosen for.
I have been lucky enough to have had sucess in most doggy activities...The hard work is in the healthscreening and careful selection of dogs, so...the .... (click to read more)
Emblehope Border Terriers
I have owned Borders for over 23 years, and I successfully show them at the highest level. I currently have 2 blue champions, Mother and Daughter. I still work them in pest control, which they absolutely love!
All my dogs are house pets first and foremost and very much a part of the family. I do not have kennel dogs, and only breed when I want another to keep for myself. I do not rehome dogs when they are past their "usefulness." They stay here forever as part of the family.

The Rocheby Kennel has been established since 1966, we took the name from Roche Abbey which formed part of the local history and our own house and the old buildings around it were in fact built from the same stone in 1876. Our foundation girls were like so many others just our lovely family dogs ,but we decided to try our'luck' inthe ring and when we came home with the prizes well that was the start of a life long love affair with this wonderful breed and the subsequent showing and breeding. We have been so fortunate in our Labrador Life to have had such superb dogs, Acorn our first Champion .... (click to read more)
