Shiroch Rottweilers and Border Terriers is a small family kennel located in Cardiff, South Wales. It is not a commercial kennel and our dogs live in our home as part of our family. Throughout our respective childhoods we have owned and lived with german shepherds, dobermanns, and staffordshire bull terriers amongst others, we finally fell in love with the rottweiler and also the border terrier.

I've been involved in showing, breeding , judging and working dogs for over 30 years. I enjoyed 10 years as consultant to the BBC regarding showdogs and aspects of canine health and breeding, following a career as a horsewoman. 2009 has already proved to be a great year for us at Stormford with Storm gaining his 3rd CC, giving him his crown and going BIS under Liz keene (Shinehill) at the GRCW.
This takes Storm to 3CC's and 3RCC's.
Then on the same day his granddaughter, Willow, is placed 2nd in a strong Junior class qualifying her for Crufts 2010.

The Rocheby Kennel has been established since 1966, we took the name from Roche Abbey which formed part of the local history and our own house and the old buildings around it were in fact built from the same stone in 1876. All our dogs are family pets first and foremost, however they are exercised in the fields and woods where they will happily spend an hour or two every day before returning home where they have both indoor and outdoor accommodation. Later in the day either a long lead walk or a free run of about 8 miles over Chatmoss; running through fields, peat bog and rough roads before relaxing with the family for the evening.
