I have been breeding and showing dogs for over 48 years,I worked GSDs and Border Colies for many years in obedience. I have bred SH CHs and an OB CH. All my dogs are bred first and foremost for temperament and soundness and are good looking examples of their breed. I have now retired from breeding Border collies and will be concentrating on the Miniature Schnauzers and Border Terriers, although I will still be judging Border collies at CH shows

I have owned Border Terriers for the past 11 years, with my first bitch called Candy, which we had before me and my husband had children. I've had other breeds of dogs before but now i wouldn't have any other than a Border Terrier. They are great round our children and make a great family pet. I decided i would love to have puppies. So Murray joined our family and no long after followed Coco.I then also have kept 2 of Coco and Murrays puppies from their litters so now also have Sugar and Tinky. They are all lovely dogs with great charactors and all get along really well.
I don't show .... (click to read more) -

I've been involved in showing, breeding , judging and working dogs for over 30 years. I enjoyed 10 years as consultant to the BBC regarding showdogs and aspects of canine health and breeding, following a career as a horsewoman. Dogs and horses are kind of similar...both blossom in good hands and the real joy is watching a character you have nurtured , grow into a confident and loving companion , able to do the task he has been chosen for.
I have been lucky enough to have had sucess in most doggy activities...The hard work is in the healthscreening and careful selection of dogs, so...the .... (click to read more) -

I have been breading dogs for almost the entire duration of my life. My interest started at a very young age and I would often smuggle strays into the house behind my mothers back.
As far as Border Terriers are concerned, I have probably been breading them for the last 25 years. I have had considerable showing success, including Crufts qualifiers etc. All my Borders work as well as show, and over the years, we have produced a strain which I believe has the perfect balance between working and showing attributes.
More recently, I have been introduced to miniature dachshunds which .... (click to read more) -
