Hunters Croft’ is the home of Achouffe Gundogs and Border Terriers. We are a small, select, unassuming and yet successful Kennel where all our dogs are shown and worked throughout the season. Collectively for over a quarter of a century we have bred and made up Champions, bred/owned ten UK KC Stud Book entries. Weimaraners are our first love and Julie was privileged to rewrite the 'Breed History' books by owning and handling the first Weimaraner to take the highest Group placing of G2 at Crufts in 2000, it really was the greatest of beginings to the millennium.

I have owned Border Terriers since 1994 and I am a Kennel Club Assured Breeder. Remony Border Terriers are first and foremost companion dogs. They all live in the house and any puppies born here are housereared and well socialised before going to their new homes. At most, only 1 litter per year is bred and new owners are thoroughly vetted.
Remony Borders have also been successful in the showring - with wins too numerous to mention. However, pride of place must go to Ch Remony Barley Twist JW, ShCM who won the Bitch CC at Crufts in 2011.

My dogs are first and foremost family pets and live in the house. I have always had dogs since I was a child and started doing competition obedience with GSDs, then showing and breeding Samoyeds and Cairns back in the 70s. Due to work commitments I had a few years break when it was not possible to have a dog.I had always wanted a Border, so when a change in my circustances allowed I finally got my first bitch, Poppy. Of course it didn't stop there and I had my first litter 2 years later Although I don't show at the moment,it is something I hope to do later on.
I only breed a litter very .... (click to read more)

Hi, my first Border Terrier arrived about 6 years ago and ever since then I have been completely smitten.
I wanted a small dog but one that was full of fun, had lots of energy, great personality and temperament and with a bit of mischievousness thrown in, which is exactly what I got, making them even more adorable!
I have now bred from Ella who has produced some stunning puppies. They are all raised in my home as part of the family with my youngest son who is 12 years old. The importance being a healthy, happy, strong puppy that is well socialised and has a great temperament.

We are a small hobby kennel of Border Terriers. We have been owners of Border Terriers for 15 years. All our dogs are much loved members of our family and all live as part of the home.
We generally breed when we are wanting to add to our Border Family hence we have only had 3 litters in 11 years!
I have dabbled in showing with some success but to be honest we just enjoy having fun and going for long walks in the New Forest.

Wrens alovely bitch of excellent temperament. She has had no health issues before or during pregnancy. She beats on the local shoot along with 2 of her pups from previous litter (dog, bitch).
Loves going out with our other dogs (chesapeake bay retriever, red labrador) who all get along together well. This is Wrens 2nd litter and from feed back of new owners all pups mirror Wrens temperament.
