Shiroch Rottweilers and Border Terriers is a small family kennel located in Cardiff, South Wales. It is not a commercial kennel and our dogs live in our home as part of our family. Throughout our respective childhoods we have owned and lived with german shepherds, dobermanns, and staffordshire bull terriers amongst others, we finally fell in love with the rottweiler and also the border terrier.
Our main aim is to promote the quality of good dogs from excellent pedigree backgrounds, with outstanding temperaments and always kc registered. We believe strongly in being able to prove the .... (click to read more)

Collectively for over a quarter of a century we have bred and made up Champions, bred/owned ten UK KC Stud Book entries. Weimaraners are our first love and Julie was privileged to rewrite the 'Breed History' books by owning and handling the first Weimaraner to take the highest Group placing of G2 at Crufts in 2000, it really was the greatest of beginings to the millennium.

I've been involved in showing, breeding , judging and working dogs for over 30 years. I enjoyed 10 years as consultant to the BBC regarding showdogs and aspects of canine health and breeding, following a career as a horsewoman. Dogs and horses are kind of similar...both blossom in good hands and the real joy is watching a character you have nurtured , grow into a confident and loving companion , able to do the task he has been chosen for.
I have been lucky enough to have had sucess in most doggy activities...The hard work is in the healthscreening and careful selection of dogs, so...the .... (click to read more)

I have lived with dogs all of my life and also work in the grooming business preparing several dogs for the show ring.
Grooming dogs has allowed me to study confirmation at a close range. I would only breed from a well constructed dog.
Breeding dogs is something I do not take on lightly. I am a Kennel Club Assured Breeder. All puppies are raised in my home to the standard expected of an Assured Breeder.
All puppies leave me very well socialized, used to children, other dogs and the usual household noises.
I am a firm believer in "You only get out what you put in", .... (click to read more)

Charles Cooper & Jo Austen
We are a small kennel of border terriers only. All our dogs live as part of the family and are well socialised.
We are striving to improve the breed as a working dog by breeding only known workers; thereby keeping the working quality strong and, at the same time, maintaining the mellow temperament of the border as a terrier that works well with other dogs.
We aim to keep to the original standard with strong otter shape heads and narrow chests on a lean leggy body that can run all day if asked to.
