    Jenny and Mike Harvey

The Gemthorne prefix was established in the 70's with the aim of breeding Border Collies that not only looked good but that where capable of doing a hard days work on the farm.

We found the perfect breed so we purchased Gibbands Painted lady (Issy) and her brother Gibbands Himalayian Jester (Indie).

I started off with an english springer spaniel when i was 10 which i successfully trained to work in the shooting field. I then went on to buy a German Shepherd, Border Collie and just recently a Siberian Husky. All of these i spend most of my time with and train for different roles.
