    Breeding Happy Healthy Dogs For Loving And Competing

    We are a new small Kennel and are Kennel Club Assured Breeders. Poppy had a litter in July 2013, will not be bred from again and has since been spayed. We hope to have a litter from her daughter Elektra in 2016. We will not have any puppies available until then.

    Our dogs live in the house with us as part of the family, cuddling with us on the sofa and they have their own beds in our bedroom at night. They are first and foremost much loved members of our family.

    In January of 2014, Darian Border Collies left the rolling hills of Warwickshire & moved to the East Riding of Yorkshire. I have been involved in the breed since 1985 & the first litter under the Darian affix arrived in December 1987. Many Darian puppies have gone on to success in Obedience, Working Trials, Agility, Flyball & the show ring, as well as being much loved companions.

    We are a small breeder with 4 lovely border collie girls: 3 B&W and one Blue & White. We breed occasionally and tend to have around 1 litter per year. Our girls are a pets first and foremost enjoying a full and active life. All our girls are health screened according to KC breed standards.

    Our girls live active lifestyles and we ensure they are well mannered and socialable.

    I have owned dogs for over forty years and they have always been a big part of my family. We started with a Great Dane and apart from him and a Dalmatian/Labrador I have always had Collies. That was until 2013 when I got Tasha the Tibetan Terrier who is a comedian. Tasha gets on so well with Star and Fern. Star is the mother of Fern and they have always been close.     We have had Border Collies for over 30 years with a short break a few years ago. Our dogs all live in the house and are first and foremost pets. We split our time between agility, sheepdog training and breed showing. Our most recent successes being in the show ring with our oldest boy Rufus (Janarg Rough Diamond)and now joined by his sister, Enya(Janarg Azul sapphire) and the baby of the group Monty(Janarg Diamond Sky), who has qualified for Crufts 2015.

    My parents told me as a teenager if I wanted a dog to leave home .so I did and with the help of the Observer book of Dogs , chose a Shetland Sheepdog ,(small dog as in a bedsit ) unfortunately not suitable for the show ring , so was introduced to obedience, Of course another duly followed suite and moved back home with the pair .     From a child I have always had dogs in my life I can remember my father during the war bringing home an Airdale from Battersea dogs home we called him Bill and later we had mother and daughter Jess and Fluff who were collies crosses and my brother and I spent many happy hours playing with them.

    In 1978 the first collie I owned was a WSD called "Young Meg" who started me off in obedience.
