Dovemere Border Collies are situated in a rural village in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. We are approximately 5 miles from junction 18 (Holmes Chapel) and 7 miles from junction 19 (Knutsford) of the M6.

I bought my first pom in 1993 and showed her at exemption shows. In 1997 I started campaigning her a little more seriously at open shows. It was while I was showing my poms that I saw my first miniature pinschers. I bought my first min pin in 1999. I have kept a line of dual registered Border Collies for the last 24 years, they are based on the early Sadghyl and Plas Major dogs together with some top trialling lines. My dogs (mainly bitches) have excelled in agility and obedience with 3 being G6/Senior in Agility, one with an Obedience CC. I breed only when I want a puppy to work and to carry on the line. My dogs have biddable, friendly temperaments but are high drive and need an occupation! They are hip scored and DNA/health tested normal.

I own and show my Border Collies and have the occasional litter.I have 4 border collies, 2 girls and 2 boys and have had Border Collies in my life for the past 30 years and in the past 13 years have been involved in showing and had the occasional litter. I health test and hip score my dogs. Any puppies from my breeding are also eye and hearing tested. My dogs are part of the family and live in doors, puppies are also reared in my home so get used to all the every day noises and get the up most care and attention.

My love of border collies began back in 1990 when our family inherited a black & white bitch from the neighbours up the road, who no longer wanted her and were going to throw her out on the street. Holly originated from a puppy farm in Wales and had been very badly treated, when we got her she was approx 18 months old and we had our work cut out. She was emaciated, yellow in colour and so frightened of everyone and everything that she kept wetting herself or trying to escape.
