Our dogs live in the house with us as part of the family, cuddling with us on the sofa and they have their own beds in our bedroom at night. They are first and foremost much loved members of our family. We do a little showing and have shown at Crufts, both our current .... (click to read more)

Welcome to Chazak Border Collies! Iím Anne-Marie Waugh and I live in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, which is an excellent place to own dogs with woodland walks right on the door step. Between me and my sister, Michelle, we own 10 dogs, all of which are Border Collies.

My first dog, who sadly passed away in 2011, was your original crossbreed but he proved to be my loyal companion and he gave me my love of dogs. I would spend hours teaching him tricks and this became the foundations for my .... (click to read more)

My main interest is in dog agility that I fist tried some years ago with my wonderful Sheltie Oscar. I then decided to move into the Border collie ownership to progress with this much loved sport. Pip (Ghostland Scarla) has given me hours of fun and has taught me so much about training and about collies. She is a lovely bitch that has put up with a not so talented agility handler of a certain age.

All our dogs are primarily pets - they all live in the house, go for walks, play with children and enjoy their cuddles! They also get to do as much 'work' as they enjoy: they do herding, agility, obedience and some breed showing.

We breed rarely, but when we do, we aim to breed healthy dogs with a solid temperament, which are suitable for any discipline, be it breed showing, agility, obedience, or herding.

I have owned border collies for many years but have been doing much more since having Sunny, in 1996. I enjoy agility and obedience classes and have dabbled in a few competitions. As my children are now grown up I have started breeding and my first three litters have turned out very well. My dogs are family pets first and my puppies are raised with a great deal of love and cuddling, making them highly suitable as family pets. They are also bred for better health and from excellent pedigrees, so they are already succeeding in obedience and agility competitions.

Starfael Border Collies are located the Market Town of Otley, on the border of West and North Yorkshire.

  • Gemthorne Australian Shepherd
    Jenny and Mike Harvey

The Gemthorne prefix was established in the 70's with the aim of breeding Border Collies that not only looked good but that where capable of doing a hard days work on the farm.

The name Gemthorne was taken from our first collies name, Nant Thorne Gemma and it was Gemmas death at 16 yrs, that caused us to purchase our first Australian Shepherds. We where looking for a breed that was not only fun to live with but that would fit into farmlife.

We found the perfect breed so we purchased Gibbands Painted lady (Issy) and her brother Gibbands Himalayian Jester (Indie).

Issy was .... (click to read more)
