Gunnar has been a great influence as a stud dog in our breeding programme and has an international pedigree. His mother is Dereheath Boadicea (litter sister to Ch. Dereheath Marcus Aurelius - Top Basset Hound in the UK 2005). His father is Swed Dan & Nor Ch Swede Sun's Adam.

Gunnar has been Top Sire in the UK on two occasions. Although seldom shown to date as we were campaigning our older boys, Minty and Marcus, Gunnar has 2 CCs and 4 RCCs.

Moses is an outgoing tri colour dog of quality with great breed type and is His aunts include Deutscher Ch. Dereheath Blanc de Blancs and Irish Ch. Dereheath Rose Vintage of Gettistown. His father is the Fin Port Span Dan Champion Come and Get Me Dos Sete Moinhos. He is brother to Champion Dereheath Movie. Although only shown on a few occasions he has had a major influence on our show kennel as a sire.

His offspring include Dereheath Delilah at Kejana( 1 CC and 2 RCC) and youngsters Dereheath Going Dutch and Dereheath the Duchesse both doing very well in the showring.

"Moose" is jointly bred, owned and shown by Heather Storton and Di Melbourne. Moose is the son of Ch. Dereheath Marcus Aurelius (BOB Crufts 2006, Top Dog 2005) and very much like his father being not exaggerated in any department and very much fit for purpose. Moose has had a wonderful show career and to date has 1 Challenge Certificate and 6 RCCs.

'OB' is a placid, good natured, laid back hound. He was Top Puppy in 2000, Top Sire in 2001 and 2003 and Top Stud Dog in 2005. He won Best Veteran at the Midland BHC Ch. Show in 2006 under judges, Pat Tryhorn and Pam Coulbert and went Best In Show at the same show in 2007 under breed specialists - Dr. Liz Andrews and Arthur Salusbury. In 2008 he went Best Veteran at the Basset Hound of Scotland's Ch. Show under Liz Salusbury. OB is now 12 years old but still looking as good as ever with hardly a grey hair on his beautiful head.

Buzz is a delightful, funny, and gentle dog and he has had a very successful show career. Buzz was Top Male Basset Hound & Runner up Top Basset overall for 2010 and to date has 7CCs, 9RCCs.

Buzz has had a good 2011 todate winning 1 CC & 2 RCCs.

Buzz is very much fit for purpose with tremendous reach and drive, much like his father Dereheath Gunnar.

Marcus was Top Basset Hound Male in the UK in 2007 and Top Basset Hound in the UK in 2005 and runner up Top Basset Hound in 2004 behind his kennelmate, Minty. Marcus was Best of Breed at Crufts in 2006 under judge, Colin Gillanders, and more recently Best Veteran Dog, Crufts 2010 and 2011. Bassbarr Heavy Metal was bred in Hungary before our move back to the UK. He won Junior dog at his first show in the UK (The Club Show) and has sired his first two litters.

Minty was Top Basset Hound in the UK in 2009,2008,2004 and runner up in 2005 behind his kennelmate, Ch. Dereheath Marcus Aurelius. Minty has won 3 Hound Groups at Championship Shows.

Minty now has a total of 32CCs (21 with BOB) and 20RCCs(many of these 2nd only to our own Ch. Dereheath Marcus Aurelius - Top Dog in Breed 2005) Minty is now 8 years old but is still as sound and active as he was as a youngster and very much "Fit for Purpose".
