We are a small kennel based in the northern Lake District.
I became intrigued by the breed having seen a basenji win BIS at Crufts in 2001 and so when circumstances allowed I acquired my first, Elsa, in 2005.

Although I show my dogs, they are first and foremost a part of the family and live indoors with us. As well as my four basenjis, we also have our two 'scruffies' from local rescue shelters - a lurcher and a staffie-cross.

I only breed using health tested stock of good type and temperament and puppies are occasionally available to carefully vetted homes.

All of our dogs are pets who live in our house as part of our family. We breed only very occassionally when we would like a puppy for ourselves. All our dogs are health screened in line with KC recommendations.
