    My fascination with American Cockers began as a child after watching the Disney film Lady & the Tramp and delcaring that I wanted a real life lady dog for my very own! Many years passed before I could realise my wish and in 2002 we finally purchased our 1st American Cocker spaniel. From there the bug bit and myself and my daughter became involved in showing, we worked hard at ensuring we truly understood the requirements of the breed and the level of commitment involved to keep, show and breed such glamorous dogs.     Our family interest in Americans began many years ago when we re homed rescue bitch called Paige .We became besotted with the breed and over the years acquired more.
    Culminating with our move to the country to give our much loved pets the best possible environment possible.
    Much success followed and the rest became history.
    All our dogs are health screened annually for the known inherited defects under the KC/BVA eye scheme.
    Currently we are showing 3 dogs .

    We are a small Kennel based in East Sussex, in the South East of England. We fell in love with American Cockers having attended a ringcraft with our West Highland White Terrier, I was blown away by a friends American flowing round the hall and declared there and then that i had to own one of those wonderful dogs.
    Six and a half years later we are the proud owners of some wonderful americans and our very special Dodger the Westie.

    I have owned Americans for over 17 years, losing my 'original' and first bitch just before her 15th birthday. I have shown for about 15 years,breeding occasionally to keep one to show. All are home reared,well socialised and with children. I am a Kennel Club Assured Breeder, member of 2 breed clubs and breed for temperament.

    I registered my affix Ardquin in 1964, and started showing Poodles, then came Cockers Spaniels. In 1968 I bought my first American Cocker. I judged Crufts in 1982, I still have a strong interest in the breed. I am in partnership with Jackie Hill, Fielgar American Cockers. Latterly, have concentrated on the Lhasa Apso. In 1992 judged my first open Apso club show, namely L.A.C . Awarded CC's in 1993. I retired from judging in 2009. Have had a fair amount of success in the show ring.
